Leave my sexy space discount lesbians alone!

Seriously, they are fine. I never played DA:O much and DA2 not at all, but that looks like a major clusterfuck right there. Don't want no part of it.

Also, after reading this topic, I have a strong urge to smear a certain quarian's air filter with red sand...

Don't they just look like that, because they want to look like that for humans? It's all purposeful.

And they will do the same with Salarians, Turian, etc..

It could be interesting twist if there was no comlinks, cameras, paintings and so on. Otherwise it would be SpaceMagic.

Redesign the Asari...sure why not but that depends on what you see when you look at Asari ;)

As opposed to space strippers who are even better at dying and losing their homeworld to synthetic Reapers, because they were too concerned with their own politics both in the Council and with the Prothean beacon? What do they deserve?
I'll tell you: 300 years of Ark based indentured servitude. Dance smurfettes, dance! Gotta work of that debt to galactic society somehow.

Being able to strip already give them one advantage that the Quarians will never have, in fact the Quarians don't have any advantage or good qualities.
Yeah, they lost to the Reapers (aka cthulhu in spaceship form), not to the Geth (aka walking flashlight and cannon fodder), and the Quarians can lose to the Geth again.
And at least a Asari discovered the Crucible, what was the crucial help from the Quarians in the Reaper War?

Thats not crucial, you don't even need those ships to win. But the Crucible? Good luck trying to win without it.

Quarians are the apex species. A mere 17 millon of them are worth more to the war effort than billions of asari or other lesser life forms. They're good at science, engineering, and all manner of kickin arse. Why would we need stripping?

Reapers are idiots. They only lost because they actively tried to, though the asari did all they could help them win with their beacon nonsense and terrible leadership in the Council. Geth are far more competent, naturally, being a quarian creation.

So you're bringing plot devices discovered by an asari (working for humans, I might add) now? Well then, In addition to the aforementioned largest contribution to the war sans humans, there's also the fact that without quarian genius, ME1 would never have advanced past the first hour, Saren wouldn't have been implicated, Sovereign wouldn't have been stopped, and the cycle reaped as normal. "Asari" (but really human) plot device is made possible by quarian plot device. Yet we win AGAIN.

A larger fleet is useful to keep the reapers away from the Crucible though.

I already dislike Asaris because they remind me of space elves, so please don't make them more elvish. Or my Krogan/Orc will have to pound them harder

They are the apex of failure.
Their super war assets cant beat the Geth even if you destroy the heretics.
If you call living in spaceship slums being good at science and engineering, then there is not much to say.
The Geth are so superior that they were enslaved by the Reapers, who many of them viewed the Reapers as Gods.

Are we really going to compare? Then besides the Crucible, without the Asari we would never have reached Ilos and ME2 (the best game of the trilogy) would never have happened.
3 x 1.

For a more serious viewpoint, if they want aliens to feel "alien" they need to start moving away from designing them as humanoids.

You can't trust these clanless. Thieves, all of them.

And the krogan contribute more war assets than the quarians. The asari and the turians also contribute more if you rewrote the geth in ME2.

Really? That doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Why would rewriting the geth at all affect the turians or asari, neither of whom encounter the geth at all after dealing with the heretics either way?

I meant they contribute more than the quarians. The quarians contribute 825 points if you destroyed the geth, but only 525 points if you rewrote them.

No fantasy race deserve the same thing that happened to DA2 elves. Not even the Asari.

Since this topic seems to have become serious business: I think the asari are fine as they are. I prefer it when they look less like blue humans though. Like Liara with the eyebrow tattoos and freckles. I prefered Samara's design. The way she looked and composed herself seemed different to the humans we run into. I realise that was more to do with her personality than her species though. Some full face tattoos (like Tela Vasir) on our main asari friend/LI in ME:A would be great imo.

One group I do hope get re-designed are quarians' faces. That stock photo was just... no. A human with white eyes and some tattoos. I think asari should be the most human-like aliens in ME. Anything else should be at least drell-level human or more alien.

On a serious note I like Asari the way they are. Aria, Samara and Rana were good examples of alienish asaris...no need to change them in something different or disgusting (DA2 elves reference).

Tbh the race that would need a redesign are the Quarians. After the event of ME3 they would need a face.....and not the one they did for Tali that was an half-assed job.

I hated the elves' design in DA2 and I was glad to see that the elves looked a bit less retarded in DA:I (I actually managed to make a pretty hot she-elf).

The asari are fine the way they are, I don't want BioWare to "uglyfy" them for the sake of... I don't even know, why would you even want BioWare to make the asari uglier?

Because there are some losers that don't love/like/accept the Asari the way they are and want to ruin them for us that appreciate them the way they are...pretty much that is the reason.
