[Quarian Master Race]

I always liked Quarians but this guy/girl up makes me so want to pick the Geth over them now....I guess she is a member of the Quarian National-Socialist Party

Actually, I'm the founder and presiding Admiral of said party. Why do you want to pick the geth because I'm illuminating the facts? Can't handle the truth? We're the ascendant species according to the numbers. Your jealousy of our superior ability will not change that.

 

They are objectvely better in every way of falling.
If they were so good they would rolfstomp the Geth even with the Reaper code, and hey arent the Reapers inferior ti the Geth? Why the space gipsies cant defeat the Geth them?
If maximun efficiency means slums in Quarian language, then ok.

I'm not in favor of changing major aspects of the game's lore just to please a vocal dissatisfied minority. The last time for a debate on the Asari's design was in 2006 or so. That ship has sailed and we are now three games into the series. 

 

No retcons please. I like that Mass Effect is also much more consistent than Dragon Age, where some species seem to get a redesign in every game.

Humans are the master race of ME, thats is clear. Every other specie is beneath the master race, but every race is superior to the space gipsies, they don't even deserve to be mentioned.

I hate the way the elves look in DA2. They essentially have a sunken gaunt appearance, are so ridiculously think pencils are jealous and overall just feel very ugly to me. The Asari are fine as they are. No need to make changes to something that doesn't need them.

I think the asari (especially in me1) were supposed to be blue space babes, but by sheer chance it seems they ended up subverting it completely. Probably because bioware realised that you can't have such a one trick pony.

I just think it's a shame they jumped on the humans are special bandwagon (reminds me of that scene in independence day where no one can do anything until the American's do something. The scene with the british guys going ' by jove, it's the Americans using more code!' always makes me laugh. Terrible film that) as being the underdog is always much more interesting.
Humans should be barely tolerated, let alone sitting at the top table.

I think asari are pretty original. Mono-gendered species that can mate with anyone (sexist too but still), 1000 years life span, really advanced and sophisticated culture thanks to the protheans and...they are blue. I mean they are really huge part of the universe and if BW would be like "let's give them two heads" fans would go mad.

Yet there you stand and say, you don't give damn about other's Opinions and seeing as this is a completely opinion-based Thread and Discussion, I honestly don't understand why you still participate and don't feck off.

Retcon them with hair and make the LI look like Petra Venj or something. There. I fixed them.

If the Asari were retconed and the Asari LI in ME:A looked liked Petra Venj then that might actually grab my attention.

When I first heard that there would be blue space babes in Mass Effect back in 2007, I imagined that they would look like something resembling the female Awoken(the Awoken obviously weren't invented then but they're the vision I saw when I thought of blue space babes), but sadly that's not how it turned out. With the exception of Samara/Morinth, I just really do not find the Asari attractive at all.

If then we are debating about this then every alien race is a stereotype of humanity in this game.....are salarians the stereotype of a scientifically driven society? Aren't turians the steretype of a militaristic society? So why these are ok while if asari are the stereotype of human sexual fantasies then it's not ok?
