Can we please have a full view of what a Quarian ACTUALLY looks like in Andromeda. You know if people didn't complete murder them. monsters all of you...

The artists (husband & wife) made these before ME3 was released:

Yes, Quarians aren't cyborgs here... that kind of got ignored past ME1 ... but I still like these pictures a lot more than what we got from BioWare.

These face speculation threads are more tiresome now than they were 5 years ago. The issue was settled in 2012 folks. Deal with it.
OT: The absence of the suits is extremely unlikely without some genetic engineering or medical breakthrough handwaves. The most likely possiblity that includes quarians has them all leaving before the end of ME3 and thus before potentially retaking the Homeworld.
Even if you canonized an ending that resulted in them reclaiming Rannoch and they were able to live there for a few generations or had geth assistance, the ones going to Andromeda on the Ark ships would eventually undergo the same degeneration of their immune systems as they did on the Migrant Fleet (were the lore consistent, which it probably won't be). If we somehow instantaneously end up in Andromeda via wormhole asspull or whatever, than quarians not wearing envirosuits would result in going through periods of mild illness before adapting to the local environments, which means for practical purposes the suits would still be needed for exploration purposes if you didn't want quarian squadmate 2.0 to be constantly pissed off at their perpetual cytokine fever.
Actually, that sounds sort of hilarious with the right character.

Let's just keep them masked I'd say. Any sort of reveal at this point is just asking for trouble.
My favourite version is this concept from ME1:

I liked the ME1 Geth far more. Their concept was new, it made sense and I could easily buy into their motive of worshipping the Old Machines. Although the worship part was too ... organic already.
What they did with them later on put the concept on its head... if you side with them in ME3, they become ... human. What a waste.

Yeah, they were handled very poorly and inconsistently, especially in ME3. Further, actually allowing them Reaper code is allowing them ascendance and basically making them into the new dominant life forms in the galaxy. Hilariously stupid when you consider their history of indiscriminate organic murder, "math errors" resulting in them becoming goddamn Cylons and patchy loyalties to other genocidal machine-god beings in general. But hey, Legion's got those cute little flappy things on "his" (haha they think it's a people) head so lets ignore that I just sold my own species into at best a gilded cage and at worst created the next Reapers or worse.
The writers could have done a better job of pushing their synthesis, transhumanist agenda nonsense if they had actually had the quarians and geth find common ground and mutual benefit rather than essentially making you kill one or the other, or putting a gun to the quarians head with some magic nonsense code and telling them to play nice. But nope, the geth had to be real boys because everyone knows they weren't alive before, even EDI who points it out to you afterword in a totally not hilariously ironic conversation.
Everyone cries about destroy wiping them out, but they should be thanking the Catalyst for saving them from their own stupidity.

Yeah we just ignore the stock photo in ME3. I'd like something in between that Deviantart pic and the concept. More detailed than the "gray man" concept art, but dialed back from the asari-like Deviant art idea.
I'm also against them having totally human faces. I imagine like..those lines and dots in the stock photo translating to insectoid style trenches and airholes.
Either way, Quarians, the definitive wanderers, should be there. They are my favorite race of Mass Effect, and its not like "being in andromeda" is keeping them from treating it exactly the same as the milky way anyway.

Considering the refugees are probably going to be living on their ark for awhile, it might make some sense to have Quarians involved. They know a few things about living in space long term.

Yeah, Quarians are one of the most logical additions to this trip since no other organic race knows more about ships and long sojourns on them like the Quarians.
The Geth would also be a logical choice to make. They can handle any enviornment, are the most technologically advanced race in our cycle, and can theoretically give us an unlimited fighting force since if a platform goes down the Geth can just upload to a new platform. Plus they don't need any food, water, air, or even space during the voyage since they can live in the ship's systems so there aren't any downsides.

Assuming the organics are all going to cryosleep for a journey to Andromeda that could take centuries, the Geth would be perfect to run and maintain the ship.

Yep. Plus they wouldn't have to waste any resources during the trip to keep the crew alive. Even life support aboard the ship other than the cryo pods could be turned off. The only energy needed would be the energy to power the cryo pods and the essential systems for piloting the ship, and even most of those can be turned of until needed.

Don't know if it would be cryosleep exactly as that would be treading new ground in terms of in universe tech. I'm thinking that someone reverse engineering those Prothean stasis pods from Ilos being the most likely deus ex machina that gets us there. Someone from the Council species went there between ME1 and 2, otherwise Anderson would not have been able to tell you about Vigil shutting itself down. This would give them 3 years to put the project into motion.
Geth themselves are going to be a problem though, far moreso than quarians, because they are invariably hostile to organics up until the exact same point wherin they or the quarians can be severely depleted in number or destroyed, which would require a canon or a serious asspull for anyone who destroyed them. They aren't individuals, so there isn't even room there for exiles , escapees from the battle, independent ships like the Idenna, indentured servants or whatever other isolated excuses one could use to include some quarians despite losing the battle for Rannoch, for example.

At best you could use a new type of Geth that was created by the Quarians... but since their experts Xan, Tali and her father never heard of it, I doubt that happened either.
