Granted. Both paragon and renegade will have realistic choices with realistic consequences. Neither paragon nor renegade will be particularly favored. However, to get the best ending in the game you'll either have to go full-paragon or full-renegade. Playing 50/50 will get you the worst ending.

 

 

I wish that the plot in ME:A will not revolve around saving the world (or saving anything really).

Granted. They are a bunch of highly intelligent and intellectual people who threat you like some barbaric tribal or town idiot, "we are magnitudes above you, you can't comprehend us" is one of their favorite lines. 

 

I wish that ME:A have androids (like EDI's platform or the ones from Alien) with a secret mission hiding among your crew.

Granted.  The player character is now an android. Your secret mission: learn how to love. 

I wish our companions had complex personalities and motivations, and have genuine differences of opinion while staying reasonable people.

Also granted. Each squadmate is  has multiple personality disorder. One paragon, one renegade. All personalities are fairly complex and reasonable, but all hate the other they share a body with. You must pick which one should be dominate. 

 

I wish ME:A would find some way to stop turning all dialogue into either an exposition or an explanation.

I wish that ME:A have androids (like EDI's platform or the ones from Alien) with a secret mission hiding among your crew.

Granted, but their secret mission is to cultivate DNA samples and chart the fertility cycles of all species, by any means necessary.

Granted, but we never learn much of anything about Andromeda's species because of it.

I wish for enemies to have potent, debilitating biotic attacks again like in ME1.

Granted. It is now on a shelf in your local retailer waiting for you to come get it in one year's time. If the retailer asks for money, give it to them. Get a mohawk on the way there.

 

I wish squadmates were actually useful for more things besides an end game reward bang.

Granted, you get the chance to pop a picture of her on your pillow and take a nap. 

 

I wish that every squadmate gets their own quarters on the ship. No sleeping on the engine room floor like Tali.

Granted. However Anita calls for a Crusade against the game, forcing Bioware to remove the feature.

 

I wish that the next game uses that app for NBA Live 16 that scans your face and recreates it ingame.

Granted, but you're gonna have to buy NBA Live 16 to access the app.

 

I wish the protagonist in ME:A isn't a boring blank-slate but instead a fully fleshed-out character with an interesting background story and pre-established friends that the protagonist has a history with before the start of the game. Even better if the romance option(s) also have a history with the protagonist before the start of the game. Basically what I want is a protagonist like Geralt from The Witcher and a love interest like Yennefer and companions like Ciri/Zoltan/Dandelion/Lambert.

Granted. But BioWare now, BioWare is the one who wrote the Witcher franchise and Geralt appeared in ME through a spell gone wrong. 

 

I want to actually have a role that the game doesn't overwrite in offhanded comments or forced emotion.

I wish this game removed the Paragon/Renegade duality

Granted, in ME:A you'll only be able to play various degrees of Renegade.

 

I wish BioWare wouldn't take a dump on Renegade players and actually make Renegade a consistent and viable playstyle in ME:A that doesn't always get the short-end of the stick.

(Dead honest, I found the Mako had good mobility, while being well armed with a 155mm Mass Accelerator in addition to the smaller caliber, fully automatic MA weapon, and it's armor and shields allowed to withstand some punishment. *IF* it ever hit, because of that mobility.)

Granted and he is a mandatory squadmate, has a sickening personality, and always ninjamances you while you're romancing someone else.

 

I wish that the game has a bug in it like ME1 did where you could switch to insane right before the final boss, and get the insane play through achievement regardless of if you played it on casual. lol.

Granted but the bug causes the game to crash and delete everything you have on your system.

Granted, but it it turns out the main character is a lab intern, and that's all you do.

 

I wish for more varied and unique weapons, a la the Scorpion.

Granted but the unique weapons have a chargeup time of one minute and you can´t move in that time or they charge quickly and explode after being charged for a few seconds. Time till they overload is determined randomly. The new scorpion balls lose cohesion randomly somewhere during flight and bounce like acolyte shots even if they hit a target.

 

I wish for a better squadmate menu for the private terminal. so you see their current skillscreen.
