I don't think any of the Forum users, EA, or Bioware understand my issues with the Cerberus Network Code recognizing itself as being already in use

These forums continue to do nothing but iritate and cause confusion.

I listed in a seperate forum post my issue, it would seem that half the forum users on the thread just go there to say "I have the same issue..." and then go about to list an entirely different complaint. This is adressed to the users, read what's happening, and if what I list is EXACTLY what you have, then feel free to vent, otherwise, don't dilute the message of my post with your tangents. There's other threads for that, use them.

I activated all my codes on my PC, this included:

- EB Games Terminous Armour/Gun
- Collectors Armour/Assault Rifle
- Cerberus Network card

I then took my Cerberus Network Card to my 360, put it in, and got an error code saying that the "Key code already in use." Now I don't have that second computer.

I can tell you now Bioware/EA, I haven't used this code. Did you give my code to someone else? I'm trying to understand what to do with all my DLC in limbo

It sounds like you might have two EA accounts, and you redeemed the codes on an account other than the one linked to your gamertag. The game automatically signs you into the EA account linked to your gamertag, so if you only had the one account then it would have found the DLC without problems, and it shouldn't have prompted you for the Cerberus code in-game. It is my understanding that you only have to use the Cerberus code once, either online or on your Xbox.

Go to EA.com and check your profile by clicking on your email address at the bottom of the screen. Under "Select A Default Persona" check to see if your Xbox 360 Gamertag is listed. If it is not there, there click Add Persona, and add your gamertag. If it says "Sorry, that Xbox LIVE Gamertag has already been taken. Please try another one," then your tag is associated with another EA account. You'll need to contact EA support to get your gamertag moved to the EA account under which you redeemed your DLC codes.

You used the code when you registered it online via your PC.

Confirm that your XBox gamertag is linked to the email address you have registered with your Bioware account. To check this, go to the left menu bar (under your profile photo), and choose Profile -> Edit Profile Information. The top piece of information is your email address. Confirm that this email address is the same one you have registered with your gamertag.

Also, confirm that your gamertag is linked to your Bioware account. To do this, go to http://support.ea.com. Login using your email address and password for your Bioware account. This is *not* the same as your social site information. Click on "My Account", and scroll down to "Select a Default Persona". Confirm that your XBox Live Gamertag is correct.

Also, confirm that your game promotions have been registered. To do this, on the social site, select Profile -> Your Registered Game Promotions. Confirm that your codes have been linked correctly.

If this fails, I don't know what else to do.

I think the person not understanding is you.

You state very clearly in your post that you redeemed the Cerberus code on your PC and then tried to redeem it AGAIN on your Xbox- this is not how it works.

When you redeemed it on your PC, you did so while logged into an EA account. Your Cerberus code has now been used, and cannot be used again. The problem you have is that your EA account is not assocated with you Xbox gamertag. Log into ea.com and open your profile. Look under "add persona" and add your Live Gamertag. If it says that your gamertag is already in use then you have the EXACT same problem as everyone else- you have another EA account from the past that your gamertag is paired with. The only way to fix the issue is to figure out the name on the old account, the call EA and have the accounts merged.

Honestly this would've been a lot easier if we just had to enter the codes in-game instead of giving us all this "go to website then load game, then exit game to dashboard to DL, then..."

Though, then again, I guess I'm not smart enough to follow instructions, even if the Cerberus Network instructions weren't all that clear.

As much of a hassle it is, I have written a short tutorial on how to properly use your codes.

Remember that the codes are a one time use, if you used them on the PC you CANNOT use them on the 360 and vice versa.  Unless the EA account is also linked to the one on 360.

Honestly, people don't want a tutorial, or stupid techincal shennanigans. It's DLC the people want, and when EA is able to figure its system out, it's welcome to contact me
