That brightened up my workday, thanks. :)

My family used to have these huge bins of random LEGO pieces, probably 1,000+. My brother loved putting together a LEGO monorail during Christmas back in the day.

I'm in my mid twenties and still play with LEGO from time to time. :) Here is my 1500-parts race car which I designed and built a few months ago.

Until you step on one.

That time when you're walking around at night and you don't just step on one. You step on a building of legos and then chaos!

I used to play with Lego all the time when I was a kid.  Dunno why I stopped considering I'm now just a big kid.

("Legos"?  Actually, I want to put an apostrophe in it now just to make it look even worse: "Lego's".  <shudder>)

I love it.

What amazes me most of the time is that even a model like this which isn't too big has a ton of bricks..

I bought the red WV bus that they put out last year and was surprised that it has nearly 2000 pieces yet is not very big when assembled. That aspect of LEGO is what fascinates me. I love my LEGO...

I am an old fart and still love them. Except when I step on something not finished in a dark room at night :(

Its kind of a fantasy mix of the Audi, Toyota and Peugeot prototypes with some Group-C car era genes as well, built and finished it for the Le Mans 24 hour race 2015.  ;)

If you want to see some more LEGO models, check my site on MOCpages: http://www.mocpages....home.php/119763

I agree, and the models become surprisingly heavy too! Part of the reason is LEGO has so many small bricks and they add up.

Also check out the new LEGO Ferrari F40:

I'm from Denmark. We're all Lego fans here. It's illegal not to be.

In fact, we're made of Lego ourselves.

Until you step on one.

When you get annoyed or mad at someone and they're walking away, shout, "Oh go step on a Lego!"

Legos give people's feet PTSD.

It is known.
