My dragon age origins game thinks all 2 handed weapons are 1 handed. It has rendered all 2 handed skills darkened and unusable. It seemed to all started when i installed the "kossith mod" from nexus, but I disabled the mod and started a new file yet it still does it. So I'm not posative that's what caused it. Has this happen to anybody else and is there a fix for it?

Just some general advices:

Mostly the modders have a q&a with  a "known issues"-section; perhaps there you find a workaround

If a mod causes too much trouble I usually disable it, quit the game and then delete the entire mod from my HD.

After this just start the game again and force-load your last save. In most cases the problem is gone.

Before you download and install a mod, you should read a bit the posts about it on Nexus as well as the description, in which the author

mostly explains the installation procedure. If the installation is too complicated, because of incompatibilities with other mods and / or

the need to download and install other files from different web-sites, you should think twice, if all that would be worth your while.

PS.:

You noticed, that you need a "kossith race mod" from here http://social.biowar...m/project/4592/, too, right?

And you probably have a file in your /override folder that you haven't uninstalled.  Just a guess, but that would cause the the problem to continue after you disabled the dazip portion.

Updated: glad 2High2Play reads gibberish - updated to change 'installed' to uninstalled'

Due to a reorganization of the Nexus forum pages, we can no longer see all of the messages posted for all of the mods unless you post your message at: http://forums.nexusm...293,296,301,578 The mod author can see your message and everyone who goes to the mod page can see your message - the same way it can be seen on the BSN project pages at: http://social.biowar...bw_projects.php

I requested on Nexus that they provide a link to the 'general' comments page so that you and others know where to ask your question if you don't get a 'prompt' response from the mod author
