You dont want BW putting children into the game. There was only one and look what happened:
Exactly. Kids in video games are worse than kids in movies which are worse than several incurable diseases during a genocide. And some of the diseases are racist.

I would not have a problem seeing children in the game. Maybe talk with a couple of them saying how they like to be a soldier, a doctor or whatever when they grow up.

Would be nice, but I don't know that I care enough for bioware to devote time and resources to designing more models and animations for them in lieu of things that actually matter to how the game plays.

This assumes that a few NPC models here and there would necessitate a sacrifice of other kinds of content. I have little reason to believe that this is the case. From what I understand, The Witcher includes all sorts of NPC's of various types doing things with a fair amount of detail. I doubt this led to CDPR cutting corners elsewhere.

Have kids around, but keep them almost entirely silent and don't give them any cycling ambient dialogue.
Witcher 2's responsible for that impression. Ugh.
Yeah, I don't want to talk to them, but it at least gives the illusion that people have lives and that some plan to replicate themselves the old fashioned way. This ain't children of men.

Would like some in the game, I did like having my dog in DAO bring back a kid and telling the dog, no he couldn't keep him.
Agree with the variety, old, young, a few infants carried in those backpack things. And if there is a town without them, have some indication that the kids are raised in an area away from everyone else like the Krogan. But not every society should have this and a variety of people does make the world more alive.

Kids would be fine but most people can't write them without resorting to making them cutesy and precocious, though I thought Kieran in DA:I was well done. I agree with KaiserShep, I'd rather see them then interact with them.
Voicing children always seems to be a problem. In DA:O they have accents that don't match the adults around them and in the Witcher 3 they sound like adults poorly mimicking children. Both were really annoying.

Witcher 3 featured children a lot and it was way darker game than anything Bioware has ever put out and it got great review scores and sold 4 million in 2 weeks.
I doubt Bioware will do it cause they are too care bear.
Hear that, BioWare? The game that sold a bit more than your fantasy RPG included consumed war orphans and resurrected miscarried fetuses. Throw that stuff in Andromeda! Everybody'll love it!
PS: ME3 exploded a child onscreen and made them the representation of the galaxy's innocents lost during the Reaper extermination.

I doubt BioWare will do it because who freaking cares? Nobody bought The Witcher because it had children in it.

The Mass Effect Universe looked like everyone was born an adult with implanted memories. I mean the only "older" people were Chakwas and Hackett, and they were in their 50s. I don't think we need kids on teh ship. That would be bad. Very bad. But face the facts. We're going to a new galaxy with the remnants of our races. Survival of our species is at stake. That means making babies is going to be of prime importance.
Even Skyrim had kids in it. They were annoying too. But necessary because it made the world feel more alive.
