Would be nice to see NPC children as part of the ARK or if settlements have already been established, there.

Would be cool, actually. Children Krogan, Salarians, etc. Think about Volus kids, how short they'd be.
I want to see Hanar children.

I had no idea how much I also wanted to see a hanar child until you mentioned it. Tiny krogans and baby jellys these are things that I need to see now.

Or having to sing songs to her entertain her at 04:00. Or dealing with a poonami as you try to broker a peace.
Or trying to find size 2 nappies at the local shops.

This might not be a popular idea but I rather like to have a companion with a kid like a small child, maybe the companion is married or with an NPC on the ship and during missions the child is with that parent but when you're not out on missions you can sometimes find the companion spending time with their child and spouse? I think if it was done right it could be pretty interesting imo.

how cute that's when you actually knew how to speak proper English.
Awwwww whats even cuter is that thread was where Vorcha Master Baits was born
ooooh the treachery
He really does burn things, too. I helped him burn some Rippaz and Geth today.
Now I am imagining someone chucking a redheaded mermaid out of the airlock, aimed at a ground target.
...where she will sing to the enemies, causing them to lose the will to live.
And on topic, when the kids are on board the ship they should spend their time singing along to Disney programs shown in 3d on the galaxy map.

In my cycle, insolent offspring such as these would have been sent to Chan'talomar 6 for a full year of survival combat against each other, living only on what they could steal from their peers.

Well, the protag will probably be more like Rael´Zorah or so. High expectations, married with his work, family marks days he´s actually home in the calendar..

And now I'm picturing that as well. Along with rolling it into the elevator and sending it somewhere else when it's annoying you, after all not like the kid could push the buttons to get back up there ![]()

Exactly. Games should be like real life in every way.

I blame Destiny on this one, bouncing the purple ball around.

While I would love to see more variety, I doubt it happens. It's just easier on graphic memory to use and reuse a select few templates. I haven't played DA:I yet though. So if there is more variety there, then we might see some in ME:A.

I think it would be quaint that you would squat or bend over to talk to children in-game if you wanted to be friendly.
If they pulled a page out of The Witcher, you get to play hide and seek with them, as well.

Metal Gear Solid is doing it, but then again, the series is not overly PC like Mass Effect.
It would have been an interesting consequence.
Say there's a settlement run by bandits, you can either peacefully trade with them and leave them alone to continue pillaging, help them pillage, or you can go in all Rambo and kill everyone. If you go with the 3rd option, you'll eventually encounter a group of kids wanting your head for killing their parents (you didn't know the bandits had children since the children were in an hidden underground shelter or w/e) and unfortunately, you can't talk with them and they light you up. You can either run away or fight them.

I imagine BioWare might have to lend out its IP before Mass Effect: Sudan is ever released.
Although, the krogan do provide a handy loophole, since they're basically battletoad camel tanks. It's hard not to imagine the eldest of the nest pummeling its weaker siblings to death before they even go off on their own.

Great. Stuck with Bioware supporting one lifestyle over another again.
The Sims is the game you're looking for. Mass Effect isn't about lifestyles.
Unless maybe you consider "space hero" to be a lifestyle.
