As NuclearTech watched my scrubbiness get downed, rage gel, down, rage gel it got us talking. Does gelling reset the timer on health and shield gate?
If it does, do certain attacks impact the ability to reset the timer (scion blasts)?
Or am I just that scrubby?

When you are revived you have a period of invincibility for like 2-3 seconds, typically long enough for your shield to restart.
DoT effects such as warp and swarmer will prevent shield regen, but I don't think it does health damage till the invincibility period is over. It's like 2s.

Sometimes when you rage gel as soon as you go down, only health appears to fill up, but not the shields, so sometimes 1 burst and you go down again.

Wait... Gelling is supposed to give your shields back too? 
Oh and the best thing you can do with a rage gel is to hide your reload in it

LoL, maybe not, but It does happen that as soon as you stand up, you go down again in 1 Assault Trooper Hornet burst, like you had no health or healthgate or that 3 second invulnerability.

Yeah I know. It usually happens under heavy lag conditions, to me. It's promptly followed by another rage gel or two and a rage rocket... Or 6

My rage has lessened since I began the habbit of popping Ops packs before I die... I will normally die 1-2 times a match..so I do gel at that point..( don't trust PUGz ) but if I am sync'd.....

Damage over time is entirely not affected by medigel. I know this is true because of swarmer hell mods killing people after I revived them from the same swarmer. Ok. That works for me. So I need to make sure to not rage gel right away as dot may prevent my shields and revive immunity from working.
And that's one to grow on.
