Okay Luck and other members of Bioware crew, looks like your warning about glitched lobbys does not work at all. This "Cancer" spreads from top of leaderboard to its bottom. Every day i meet new ppl  ,who use and create glitched lobbys. Those guys keep getting  easy promotions, so am wondering how is the  investigation? I do realize that its not easy to fix glich, but i do not understand why  those ppl ,who started using  this glich are not being banned? If they would be, i doubt we'd have so many cheaters right now. Or maybe is it the WAY ITS SUPPOSE TO BE? If those ppl  who using such bad glich are okay and nothing gonna happen to them, that means all those, who try to avoid it ( and its still majority of players) are just being stupid, and lose nice bonuses?! Then you guys tell us on forum in our face that its the way to run this game, so next time in go to game stop i'll know about way this company runs and doubl i'll go with that, so many other players will.

I think is only you devs   who are able to  stop that cancer and punish for that, or let it spread, but either way, you can't stay silent, we players not GONNA LET IT HAPPEN. PLZ DO FINALLY SOMETHING.

Exploiting increased experience gains in DAMP is not even remotely the same as cheating in poker, and you know it. Don't try to make silly comparisons in an attempt to further your argument; it makes you look bad.

Then first of all most of my friend pissed off about that story, then promotion help, but as well during earning them you learn how to use character, as well you change builds when your stats grow up, and i am not making anyone looks silly, there are army of players who are not happy with this story, and old are adult enough plus for them it matters, so please we going off topic . Ok, let me put it to you this way. Who does the XP exploit actually hurt? The exploit doesn't hurt the devs, since it doesn't increase incoming gold values for players (which would decrease the likelihood of platinum purchases). It doesn't have a negative affect on the average player, as it's actually nice to have highly promoted players to aid you in dealing with the more difficult content. So, those hurt by the exploit must be those who overvalue their ego (leader board glory seekers). The problem with this, is that placing such importance on the ego is meaningless. Thusly, there is no significant damage caused by the XP exploit.

It's not about disliking the leaderboard. It is about the fact that this exploit hurts no one and lets people get stronger faster so they can enjoy higher difficulties. Sure people with already high stats can exploit it too but who cares? In what way does this stop the rest of us from enjoying the game? It doesn't and there's no reason to call for their banishment.

It's not that I dislike the leaderboard, it's that I don't see the value in it. If a ranking on a game's non-PvP leaderboard has any more meaning to you than "Oh, I'm on the leaderboard. That's nice.", then you have a problem (in my opinion).

Simply because there are rules, doesn't inherently mean that they are good and should be strictly followed.

I for one agree with the orginal poster. Why are players being allowed to set up lobbies that get to promote once every thirty minutes with no repercussions? The devs did not intend for the double exp lobbies to exist and players who are purposely setting up these lobbies to take advantage of this glitch are exploiting the current bug in the system. Emphasis on exploit.

I do not want to play with players who are exploiting the game. If players are not playing within the confines of the rules I want them out of my lobby. I don't care if said exploited player makes my party exponentially stronger. A cheater is a cheater is a cheater and I want them gone Tom Brady style.

No the scoreboard means something because it is there.  Don't tell others how to enjoy the game.  People are cheating and they need to be held accountable for it.

i gotta say they are pretty bad cheaters. it is still too much work to promote. if i was going to cheat id play on pc and give myself a good 500 in each stat.

90% is a great overstatement, at least in relation to this topic. And to say that somehow those of us who disagree with you about the XP exploit are not part of the "true" playerbase is ignorant. You have no idea how weak or strong of a connection to DAMP that we have. For all you know some of us (or all of us) could be outstanding fans that greatly enjoy the DAMP, even more so than yourself.
