well seeing as wet is a word to describe a feeling and feelings are retaliative to ones own scenes, no I cant tell you if it is wet, what is wet.... can you describe water with out using any terms that would be relative to ones own perspective.
follows the same principle of the philosophical argument of is the tree really there ...... 
Wet does not describe a feeling. Wet is a state something or someone is in.
I feel wet? What feeling does that describe? Are you sad, bad or even mad? Being wet can produce a feeling but doesn't describe it. I'm soaked in water, i feel not well.
That being said...I don't even get your point in the above quote :/ I can define water subjective or formal. What is it, that you are saying there?
