I agree with the OP. Something should be done. Risk benefit analysis? For what? Cheaters are cheaters and I do not care about the motivation or what's behind the process that leads to the action. Ultimately I like playing with my friends. They are nice and intelligent people whose accomplishment of reaching a high place on the board shouldn't be reduced to a warm, moist turd induced by ultimate enemas or penultimate for that matter. Anyway the whole thing is nonsense. Just ban cheaters, hunter, elementalist, lobby, I don't care about the glitch just ban 'em.

I assume it's a sensitive matter since non-cheaters are getting caught up in it. The way many of these exploits work, you won't know how bad it is until the match is over and the experience is applied. I think the worst I saw was on PC where, after a perfectly normal match concluded, the Match Summary screen revealed that the host had earned 400 million experience himself. That was shared, so everyone had that much exp applied to their characters and it probably still exists somewhere in the account's data. If the devs decide to act on cheaters, they're going to have to comb through those who were unintentionally affected. That would take time.
The devs have stated their awareness of these issues and are looking into it. Just hope they come up with a solution and avoid cheating lobbies when you find evidence of them in the meantime.
thats the thing the XBOX one exploit is not a cheat it is a bug in the code..... how do you punish some one, like you said most wont know till the end of the match, and this exploit while forced happens randomly as well.... so your playing DAMP and then the Lobby Glitches...and it is a glitch........ most noobs might just be like **** it..... how do you punish some one for faulty code........ no one is changing any coding no one is modding...... it is just a semantic coding error.... which can be extremely hard to find because the error will let the code run fine it is a logical argument error....... like saying "cat the goes up tree the" instead of "the cat goes up the tree" while it is the correct spelling its logically flawed

well seeing as wet is a word to describe a feeling and feelings are retaliative to ones own scenes, no I cant tell you if it is wet, what is wet.... can you describe water with out using any terms that would be relative to ones own perspective.
follows the same principle of the philosophical argument of is the tree really there ......

Fairly certain the glitch happens on all platforms (just read a thread about it happening on the ps3 the other day), and yet, only xbox1'ers seem to care the most.
