Agree, it'd be nice to see something other than "save the world" for a change
If Bioware not screw this looks like this time we would be "evil" from another galaxy. Would be nice story, we always saint saver.

You are the red square your job is to destroy the evil red square.
there is a after game where you play the Renegade option Redsquare and mercelessly assassainate the green square.
Spoiler
If this is true is it showing humanity as some super important race again? if so that irks me lol

But we are important. And what I like about Mass effect it's realistic. We find aliens are real what first think we do start a war with Turians. We go to new galaxy, what we do start planting flags and taking stuff.
I think game will start with simple mission to make colonies in Andromeda, but we will discover some amazing, old, mysterious thing and that will change our mission into something more exciting. Something like ME1 but in Andromeda ![]()
apparently you play as a Duck who makes and delevers Bread.. or am i thinking of something else?
[Someone] is doing [something evil] but [the PC], using [ancient technology] and [a team of merry misfits] will band together to defeat [menace].
Nah im sticking to the Duck thing.
There's nothing to say you can't do both.
Have you seen how ducks mate? imagen that as a LI.
Duck ashly "Oh no Geth."
Duck Shepard."meh Rape"
choice Ash V Kaiden.
meh
duck Shepard .Choice. rape the two let Kaiden die then rape the corps.
Ah, but what if the bread is the LI...?
Well its better than the Ride to hell dry humping.
Looking for people's thoughts on what the actual plot of ME:A will be. Here are some of my ideas (may be a combination of as well):
1) Continue civilization in Andromeda (you're Noah).
2) Discover and fight new ancient evil alien race (reapers 2.0)
3) Stars in Milky Way are aging faster, need to find fix in Andromeda or move Milky Way civilizations to Andromeda.
4) We found or developed a way to Andromeda. Andromeda is then the wild west: outlaws, opportunities, the Oregon Trail. You're the sheriff to explore, keep order, create alliances with new races.
5) Is the song Ghost Riders in the Sky from the trailer a hint to anything? The song is a take on the wild hunt myth.
depends on whether it's a solo story or another trilogy I guess but I would likely say it'll be a mix of 1 and 2 but that's assuming it's a trilogy though. However they may go with something completely different. This is just what I'd suspect they'll do
The Comic Con panel last weekend showed off our PC.
Is there links?
Is there links?
This is the full video of the panel:
The stuff with the main character is right at the beginning. Though any talk about any actual plot results in BioWare mostly saying "We can't talk about that right now".
They also note, everything is highly subject to change.
It will involve the PC exploring new worlds, and in the part of it will be asked to investigate one of the previously established colonies which has gone mysteriously silent. Once there, the PC will find some form of ancient artefact which will give the PC forewarning of a threat from a hytherto unknown race.
They will then chase around the galaxy uncovering the details of this threat (after being disbelieved by those higher up in chain of command, except for your mentor who believes you) with the final mission being thwarting it via some form of race against time.

Oh that's what you meet, I've seen that video. I thought you meant like they've revealed what the PC looks like outside of the armour.
I have a feeling its more about the MW species needing to establish themselves in Andromeda by unlocking or unleashing a power with his protected by certain species like The Khet.
Most likely going to be some human centric nonsense like ME2 with how humanity being the only ones who can save the day. The ME series doesn't need any more of that.

I feel like ME:A is a great opportunity to make every species from the Milky Way galaxy matter this time. No more focusing on just humanity.
