OOOHHHH!!!  With Cole in yesterday's twitch promo...maybe we will have to escort different folks from SP in this Exterminator category.  So much more enjoyable than impotently flailing away at the Messenger with whatever weapon is handy, wishing I could JUST ONCE make contact and knock him on his smug a**.  

 

Goodness, apparently I have some issues with this individual...but, it seems a lot of you do, too...does that make me feel better or worse?  Hmmm.....

You're right. First chapter of Varric's book is "Humble Beginnings"

 

This challenge has nothing to do with SP. I completed that challenge and got my first book.

Chapter One of the book was a bit short, kinda slow on character development and somewhat dull. But many would say that about the first book of that whole Lord of the Rings thing, so maybe this will end up with some peoples Alchemists having to throw their Heal on Kill rings into a volcano or whatever. (Full disclosure, never read the books, never saw the movies. Love the Hobbit cartoon though! Go ahead...flame me...)

I was wondering where that extra chest came from.  I waited until I got my 10 levels to go claim my free chests, and got the Community chest and TWO Commendation chests.  At first I thought I imagined it, but there was way more to salvage than what would have come from just 2 chests.

 

So yeah, Cool.  Write on, Varric, write on.

Got nothing really note worthy in my first Comm pack or even my Victory chest. But in my 2nd Comm pack which was the Varric one I persume I got

 

 

 

my third superb HoK ring and my 2nd superb cooldown amulet. I feel pain having to salvage them.

I'm in the same boat... I get all the other "Superb [Accessory] of [Useless Stat] except for CD and Life Drain.

I can't complain too much, as somehow RNGeesus mistook me for someone else and gave me a Superb Amulet of CD...but seriously with these two gray HOK and no freakin' cotton to be found    ...it's why I like playing archer and hunter so much...PBTM with the right grip (name escapes me now...might edit later if I can be bothered) and I'm darn near unkillable!

Slightky off topic but pretty sure Superb CD amulet is Not useful for Virtuoso, use superb con, cunning, magic, willpower..
