I've suggested adoption. That would be cool. Marriage is another cool option. In the ME Universe interspecies relationships and marriages do happen. So would make sense if we could be in a marriage with our LI.
I'm down.

I will accept this thread and make something for it later.
Then you're cursing yourself for ever agreeing to marrying that wife of yours who all of the sudden isn't all that attractive anymore.
I'd settle for human, female, straight, and normal, but BioWare seems dead set on never giving us all four EVER.
In the interest of making everybody happy, of peacefully resolving the various cultural battles, and of earning profit and goodwill for Bioware, I am hereby proposing that, in addition to main character creation, Andromeda offer the option of creating the game's love interest. Do you want a bipolar transcendentalist Quarian with the crossed-over voice of an elderly Vorcha? Or would you prefer to be swept off your feet by a blonde, buxom, fully AI Omni-tool, with a kind heart and a foul mouth? We need customized love interests.
No. Bioware's main selling point is writing and characters. Customized love intrests throws that out of window, you can't have well-written characters with that.
I'd settle for human, female, straight, and normal, but BioWare seems dead set on never giving us all four EVER.
It just depends on what you define normal as. I think Miranda fits to that description, but I have feeling that you don't see her as normal enough.

I would love the ability to marry a LI, preferably before any sex scene occurs.
A female human spec ops professional who frowns on any advances as a waste of time at best and an amateurish way to endanger the current mission at worst.
Culmination of the romance: a vague smile and the words "You're not my type."
I'd settle for human, female, straight, and normal, but BioWare seems dead set on never giving us all four EVER.

Human female
Name Josephine
Age 20
Bisexual
Sniper
Are we seriously now proposing to turn Mass Effect into a dating sim? I thought Mass Effect was supposed to be an RPG shooter? But I guess I must be wrong, considering the obsession with romances that people on the BSN have.
Yes I'm being entirely serious. It's time we got an elcor dating sim.
(PS. You might want to re-read the post you were replying to if you actually thought I was being serious...)
Jack
... why did you have to type it like that?
Like what?
(inb4 "your post is sexist/misogynistic cause you're not treating women like the angels they are! How dare you type "that wife of yours"? Don't you see how incredibly sexist that is?")
And WTF is "normal"? Please choose your answer carefully.
Yeah Br3ad we're on the territory of the "progressives" here, so better be careful what you say lest someone gets offended.

Normal people don't tell you to define normal. Hinty, hinty, hint-hint, BSN.

Well you know me, caring about everyone and their opinion of me.

I actually had a 5 page long discussion about what "normal" means and how it isn't inherently an offensive word. Even after that people still got offended whenever I used the word "normal" as a descriptive term. *sigh* Only on the BSN such lunacy is possible.

To be fair normal is different for everyone.

People have a right to be offended by thoughtcrimes.

Its the name of a town in the USA Nebraska i think.

Not that I care one way or the other, but you're the one who seems to get offended easily.
Anything can be a love-interest if you're brave enough ![]()

I would like mine to look like this. Is that possible?
