Honestly I wish the PC were not the Beta testing platform. The game community gets visibly divided when there is a Beta patch out for testing.

Other platforms would join in on the PC Beta tests if they were allowed...

I wish they were allowed. Beta testing is a burden on the small and fragmented PC community to have to deal with by itself.

Pretty sure you just make a copy of your vanilla DAI folder inside Origin Games, rename it to include Beta at the end, delete the Patch folder from inside the Update folder, then click on the tile in Origin to update/download the beta files and repair once before playing.  Much faster

Downloaded DAI trial for shits and giggles to see how my new laptop could handle it. Pleasantly surprised it works well enough for playing so I bought it (yes, I love the SP) and joined the beta.

Oh well I tried to get the pc version but looks like a no go.  Does not work for my lap top.  Being foolish I didn't look at the system specs and I only have vista on this thing.  Thought the rest of the specs were sufficient, got a long error message when trying to start.

Bioware has been doing great lately with updates and content. But I doubt they can create a new map, new faction, and atleast 3 new classes so close to the release of FC. Let alone so close after the release of the new NM and HB difficulties. If such things are coming, I expect them to be released around september.

What I read from Luke's post is Deep Roads and Dark Spawn faction confirmed. 

 

And the 7 new characters are all Inquisition companions from the SP campaign.

 

Sera, Dorian, Varric, Cole, Iron Bull, Black Wall and Vivienne is my guess... No Solas, Cassandra or Morrigan for obvious reasons.

I wish bioware were actually capable of doing their jobs to be honest with you. I don't know any other game that beta tests with the community for every single patch they put out.
