Last threatening game I got double xp and double gold. Does it have something to do with the weekend or is it a bug?
If its a bug, is it known to Bioware? Do I have to leave the game? I dont want to be banned or reported because Im exploiting a bugged game.
I have no clue how I got that "bugged" lobby. I left the lobby and tried to reproduce it, but I couldnt.
So I cant file a bug report with information. I just can say it happend once for me.
I wasnt even sure if I probably missed a double xp & gold announcement.
I would make the argument even with that great double XP weekend I am still behind on what I should have. The amount to times the RTC didn't die as well as the amount of times I never got a key to drop and couldn't progress through the level? How many times FC freezes? Issues for months...and months....and months.......... If I ever get into one of those lobbies I won't feel the least bit bad. I would probably come here and gloat.
You are just a MP hater and want SP to reign supreme. That's why you are doing this. I read your thread in the ME section.

I'm not saying I know how to do it but.... I think Bioware figured what was the problem pretty quickly. Question is if they can patch it or when more likely idk.
Ran in to this last tuesday. Thought the double XP stuff was still going at first, until i noticed the gold was bugged(showed as doubled but actual amount i got was normal) and that it didn't count toward any challenges. We also weren't able to recreate it, despite the host going through the exact same steps a second time, so i think it might be a connection issue during the lobby creation or something.
Eeek. I think I might have got this today. First game I joined today, the host quit and I ended up as host on perilous random. We finished the game and I noticed we got double xp. I assumed it was a weekend event thing and played it up until about 20 mins ago. Then a guy sent me a message asking if I glitched the lobby. I told him it was a weekend thing, but I was thinking about the gold showing up twice but not counting and thought I'd check. Lol, the guy went afk after that, I think he was reporting me. Sad panda.

I'm not making any accusations. You might not "hate" mp, but you do see SP as more important.
You even said in this post without SP I'm not buying the game. Many people bought this game only because of the MP.
This was a benefit to many MP fans who got dumped on from day 1 with this game by the numerous bugs and glitches the game released with. I've never got into one, but I would see it as "fair". You come here and dump on it as soon as you get in one.
So is this a doulbe XP weekend after all or something? I had 2 lobbies on the PS4 give me double XP and gold, then the PC trial version finished downloading, went on to try a couple of matches on the PC and all of those gave double XP as well. Not complaining by the way. Promotions everywhere.

There is an intermittent bug for this happening that we're trying to track down. If it happens to you just enjoy the nice bonus, because one day Jeff will find out what's happening and fix it

The official stance is that we should enjoy the nice bonus before it gets fixed.
All you have to do is have the host dashboard and then get invited back into the game. Not sure how it works exactly for playstation but it should functionally be the same.

But thats not the only way it's happening, cause it happened to us on playstation in a lobby where the host never left.

Hmm I guess that would explain why it hasn't been fixed yet if there's more to it than what I thought. I'm sure they'll get soon enough though.
That happened to me before , I was the host from the start to the end , and it wasn't double , in a Perilous match , I got my Reaver from 1 to 20 in that single match .
I noticed something wrong when after killing the boss , the money we earn from its kill popped up 2 times .
Oddly enough , the players who joined me , seemed to receive the normal amount of XP.

it happens randomly , that's why its hard to track down I am guessing while there are ways to force it from what I hear and read it is random chance also

No you didn't read it right. "Enjoy it while it lasts" is a common term used to tell people that something is going to be gone/killed off. In the next line he is telling you they are looking to fix it.
