An example of everything wrong with Bioware/ EA's "customer support"

This link right here is what's wrong with Bioware and EA's so called "customer support" One thread, 183 people having the same problem on multiple platforms, and no sight or word from BEAware what so ever, also 9 months since the original poster shared his troubles, and yet no answers, no fixes, no nothing, not even acknowledgement. Ohh Bioware how far have you fallen from the grace of decency...

You have to admit it's "smart" and "cost effective" though, instead of paying people to stand by to solve issues, or inform the higher ups of the issues people are encountering, they set up a forum where players themselves answer or try to solve their problems, who cares they payed for their product, let them deal with it on their own right?

And since when do I preorder?!

And fortunately I don't have the ability to watch trailers online or on the tube, 'tis why I have NO idea what new games out these days. The cost of living out in the boonies.

You should see me on one of my monthly excusions into civilization, it's like all one of those "HALLELUJAH! I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!" moments.

 

Never raged enough to boycott before, this will be my first and I've held grudges for YEARS for lesser transgressions.

You have underestimated my sterotypical feminine trait of holding grudges EA/BioWare.

I agree i don't see myself buying any BEAware games at full retail any more.... Only used from now on. A shame though, i use to like this developer studio a lot:

Because community is better at solving problems than customer support. 

Customer support often has absolutely no idea on product they are suppose to help with, nor real influence over patch priorities.

Devs could help a lot in finding a workaround, but apparently they don't care once they get their paycheck.

 

i used to lurk here because DA was one of the best games i've ever played, to read some interesting lore discussions, simply - to be a fan. now i'm just curious what disgusting idea they come up with next. and how blind are some people here.
