Dumb question: does caltrops benefit from the "set them up" perk?

It says so in the actual ability for the caltrops that any ability that buffs traps also buffs the caltrops. I never got the passive though so I can only assume it does work. Use at your own discretion

Yes it works just fine on Caltrops.
My only problem with Caltrops is Heal on Hit is very inconsistent and may actually rely on heal on kill.
Caltrops does pwn Zone 5 rooms on perilous
