So I took some of y'alls advice and went Claymoar. I only had time for one game but I'll be revisiting this kit.

Huntress_zpsmrzstrkb.jpg

Still getting used to the whole timing of cloak/dc/shoot/cancel/shoot/cloak/warp/shoot thing but I do love muh Claymoar on her    :D.

Also, as has been discussed ad nauseum, since score = everything, I guess that makes me a failure, but that guy was running Reegar Destroyer and had to nuke W10/11 spawns to grab top spot, so I'll take that failure with pride  ;)  :P

Huntress is my favorite character in the game. Her powers are so powerful that you can literally play a Gold match without firing a shot, so use whatever gun you want. (I haven't tried a no-shot Huntress Platinum but it would be theoretically possible.)

That said, weapons I often use on her:

Claymore -- I do think you suffer slightly from its weight, because you're going to do Cloak - DC/Warp - shoot, and those milliseconds between DC/Warp and shoot cause the Cloak cooldown to be longer than the default 3 seconds. Probably less of a problem on PC where your controls are a lot more responsive than on a console.

Raider -- I kinda suck at aiming, so having two slightly-weaker-than-a-Claymore-but-still-really-strong shots is how I make up for it.

Harrier -- You can empty just about the entire clip in the time it takes for your Cloak to cool down. And yes the Harrier is OP, blah blah blah, but it's so much fun to mow down armored enemies who have been primed by shooting them with Warp Ammo'd Harrier shots.

Lancer -- For when you don't want to be tied to the ammo box like you are with the Harrier. I even use the +stability consumable with this at times, because she doesn't need Cyclonics (due to Infiltrator), although that does mean no Power Amp which is sad.

Indra -- It's kind of a stupid choice (there are way better Sniper Rifles) but I find it enjoyable on Gold or below. Warp Rounds still does a lot of damage to primed targets, which should be everyone. Generally I used this because I am swimming in SR Amps and always short on AR amps.

Crusader -- Kind of want to snipe, but not really? Crusader's your gun.

Executioner -- Again, sniping, this time with a pistol.

Arc Pistol -- Basically the Black Widow in pistol form.

SMGs -- I... guess... you could use an SMG on her, but it seems like a tremendous waste.

Love both of these guns, will definitely try them out.

I usually Raider with muh BatSol, b/c it just makes sense, or the Destroyer. That reminds me, I don't use the BatSol nearly enough of late. But I'm like you, I don't consider myself the most accurate of players so 2 Raider shots might be better than 1 Claymoar. inb4l2aim

Got to witness AJ's High Lord Huntress in a Ghost Cerbs match this weekend.  Had an all Blue Babe lobby going with Jugger & Nat.  Those guys were Adepts, and I was my Graal AV.

AJ top scored.

Meanwhile I was making futile efforts to get into CQC range...but can't prime corpses.  In fact I recall some Phantoms/Nemeses mysteriously losing their craniums as I approached with my AF stank.  You wouldn't happen to know what could have possibly happened to their disappearing heads, would you AJ?

I like the executioner, but didn´t like it that much on her.

Wraith and the CSR are two of my favorites on the Huntress. Wraith because it's a meat cleaver. CSR because it goos stuff. Rhythm of both suits how I play best.

I've seen CSR a couple times. I never play with it so might be a good class to get my sniping challenge done.

Do you pulse it? I've heard that's the way to go w/ the CSR.

Yeah. DC > taptaptaptap > Warp. Mooks are gone almost instantaneously and rarely get the warp treatment. DC will also jump to any nearby clowns so you can continue the murder spree. Warp on bigger baddies to detonate ammo/biotic effects.

I tried the BW on her + Warp 4 and can recommend that a lot. everybody that feels comfortable with sniping will like it.

DC is an instant power and therefore works great at range.

Aw shucks. I wasn't even trying. All I can say is that the huntress is all about rhythm. When it is on it is on.
I don't want people to think I'm good so I shelved her for a while. DC is the big point getter though especially with an all Asari squad setting off explosions.

Before I maxed my manifest I would take her into lobbies with no gear because I knew I could handle whatever was thrown at me if I happened to land in a gip.

There's several good ways to build her but I prefer max DOT builds on Plat. Let it bleed and die basically. Throw on incendiary rounds with the warp cheese and you get two powerful DOTs that can eat targets. Saber, Paladin, Executioner, Arc Pistol, etc, etc all are great on her, even not as powerful SRs like the Mantis are pretty damn viable on Platinum with that build. Basically you Dark Channel the annoying crap with barriers or armor that you do not want to deal with, warp for BE then fire weapon to proc. Banshees are comically quick on Plat with this approach. You can leave DC on one target then warp another and proc incendiary on another.

I like the Indra on her.  Maybe not optimum, but DC, warp ammo, and banshees melt.

I've always felt that phasic was more efficient on her due to the ability to one shot (headshot) mooks.  Then again, I was using a Widow and not a BW.  Just curious if you've done a performance comparison Warp IV vs phasic III.
