So yeah, BoJack Horseman is a pretty great Netflix series. If you have Netflix you should definitely give it a shot. It's an animated sitcom, starring Will Arnett (The Simpsons, Ratatouille, The Lego Movie), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad, Need for Speed), Amy Sedaris (American Dad, Bob's Burgers, 30 Rock), and Alison Brie (Community, Mad Men, The Lego Movie) about the titular character, BoJack Horseman, who was a moderately successful sitcom actor in the 80's and 90's, but is now a washed-up shadow of his former self. He's a self-centered jerkass, yet also largely the most "normal" person in the cast. The second season released a couple of days ago, and from what I've seen thus far, it's almost as good as the first. The jokes are a bit more subtle and it's not as in-your-face with the punchlines, but it's still quite good.

The first season started out more overtly comedic and funny but got extremely dark and depressing as it went on. So far the second season has returned to it's more funny roots, while still being thoughtful and smart.

Netflix has really been on a roll with a lot of good original programming.

Not familiar with any Will Arnett from The Simpsons, perhaps he joined post-the-show's decline in quality. Aaron Paul & Brie are great though. I might have to give it a look.

He played GOB in Arrested Development, and was in Blades of Glory.  He was married to Amy Poehler for a while.  He only had like one guest appearance last season in The Simpsons

You'd probably recognize him at least.

And will be coming back for his own solo film.

I thought so. I've watched The Simpsons up until Season 15 so many times that I can pretty much recall most of the special guest stars in the show.

I also recognize him now. He played a minor character in The Sopranos.

Okay, I was mistaken. Season 2 isn't ramping up the existential drama, it kicks it off right at the 3rd or so episode.
