See, this frustrates me. Really wish a video on how to cheat on PC would get uploaded and circulated so that bioware will actually do something about cheaters/glitchers in this game. 

 

It really is as easy as double clicking a pre downloaded script while your game is running. You can even assign a hotkey to do so..

I dont think it is all that game breaking and if its a semantic code problem wont be easy to find, but i dont think it will b around much longer will be surprised if its still around after this weekend,

That is rich medallian. A topic about lack of integrity, accepted player exploits and a meaningless leaderboard and you reply. You are right though, a player like silver is king will be missed. He is none of the aforementioned things.

idk.  I'm adopting a 'wait and see' policy regarding it being fixed.

 

As for the exploit itself, I think people like the OP are making it out to be a bigger problem than it actually is.  I've been pugging quite a bit and I've yet to end up in a lobby with double experience.  At the very least, it's almost a non-issue on PS3 (90% of the leaderboarders on PS3 have been there since well before this exploit first appeared).  I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the majority of the playerbase on every platform never encountered a doubled experience lobby.

Who taught you your manners? Your post is not even relevant to the topic on hand. You average 11 hours a day on this game since launch so it is clear you have a video game addiction and need a medical intervention. You have a wife and a young child. You can't possibly spend any quality time with your family if you are playing video games all day. Get your priorities straight because from the posts you have made over the last several weeks it seems like you are the one who is addicted to their leaderboard ranking in order to stay relevant.

I am sorry to hear that you are upset, and that you feel there is an issue with the current leaderboards.  

 

However, I must ask, at what point did we say it was ok to exploit or glitch?  If an exploit or glitch is reported, we investigate.  An investigation takes time.  We never take immediate action as we must first understand the cause and the consequences of any reaction before acting.  This is true of any decision, and any product.  

 

If there are concerns about specific players, tactics, etc, please post to the forums, or direct message me.  Please note, that while we appreciate the notice/heads up in these situations, and we do investigate, it's up to our team to determine the penalty, if any is deserved, not another player, or group of players.

 

As issues are brought to our attention, it can often takes days or weeks to fully understand the issue, determine who has committed an offensive act, and then push appropriate reactions.  We also generally cannot bring attention to the fact that we have done so, or are in the process.  This is due to the simple fact that if we alert the offenders that we are aware of a specific issue, or are getting close to a fix/reaction, they will alter their behaviours, patterns, etc before we can complete our investigations and follow ups.

 

I generally try to avoid responding to the more extreme claims, but I felt this was something that needed to be said.  BioWare has never been ok with cheating, glitching, exploiting, or other means of harming the community, the game, and the fun of playing games in general.

 

We take these issues very seriously.

He said to enjoy it while it lasts until it is patched, but that doesn't mean he speaks for BW regarding the exploit.  If BW said they were alright with people using gltiches/exploits, then they wouldn't be working on fixing it.

 

Don't automatically assume one person speaks for an entire group/company.  That's a good way to land yourself in hot water really quickly.
