To be honest, the only thing that has changed is how he now feels about the leaderboards, apparently. I can only assume that OP was ahead of him on the leaderboards at some point, which would pretty much explain why he's saying everything that he is.

That is not the case. You are taking his words out of context. He said to enjoy the bug as a nice bonus if it happened, because they were going to fix it. It is a bug. Not an exploit. And it had nothing to do with this thread or the OP, because he was answering a specific question about a specific bug, not the leaderboard issue.

He said to enjoy it while it lasts until it is patched, but that doesn't mean he speaks for BW regarding the exploit.  If BW said they were alright with people using gltiches/exploits, then they wouldn't be working on fixing it.
 
Don't automatically assume one person speaks for an entire group/company.  That's a good way to land yourself in hot water really quickly.

The way I see it, it works the same way.

 

Still, as I said, if BW was alright with people using exploits/glitches, they wouldn't be working on fixing the doubled experience exploit in the first place.

The problem is people blowing it out of proportion.  From what I've seen this bug is very rare and there is no way to do it at will.  It's not "cheating" as much as it is a lobby you happen to join in which it is active.  Depending on if people have been playing since day 1 then you are honestly behind on what you should have due to numerous other issues the game had when it released.

It's been a long time since I witnessed someone so filled with worthless venom that I actually pity them and everyone in real life who is forced to associate with them, but congratulations. You just took the cake with both of those comments.

 

I feel sorry for anyone who actually is forced to interact with you, such as family and coworkers. You have a lot of growing up to do, mentally and emotionally.

I smell the stench of disingenousness on that first point and I'll give you credit for the mental acuity to know why. As to your second point, yes, they did indicate it would be fixed. AND (here's the important part iD'd for you in case I'm wrong about your mental acuity) we were told to enjoy it as a nice bonus until it was fixed.

Sadly I am not making this up I have spoken to more than one woman about this particular subject.

 

In addition to being a weak player given your "God is born" stats, an afk leech and a douche you are a player who creates a misogynistic environment for women.  You are, in short, appalling and disgusting.

As pointed out since my initial response:

- Yes, we are aware of the issues being discussed (I figured my profile pic would tip most off)

- Yes, the lobby issue is a bug

- No, we are not ok with exploits, as originally stated (meaning that players that are encountering this, for the most part, are being affected by a bug, not something they are maliciously attempting/provoking on their side

- No, we are not going to discuss any penalties to this at this time (see my original post)

- Yes, Blair (Fiddzz) has already acknowledged the topic in a separate thread, including noting it will be patched out

- Yes, it's Saturday night and Luke and I are in the office...

- Yes, I am hoping to go home very soon so I can return to enjoying playing some matches with everyone :-)

 

Finally...

- YES.  We understand that the anger or frustration expressed in these threads and forums is the result of your passion.  

We're all gamers.  We are all passionate about games, and playing games.  When something is not what we hope for, or expect, we tend to let that passion out.  We want the rest of the world to know that we are upset, frustrated, or angry that something is not what we hoped for, or expected.  We get it.  No worries there.  We do it from time to time too.  We just ask that when you encounter issues, please try to keep it as constructive as possible.  Makes it easier to read, get to the root of the issue, and begin processing what we can or cannot do as a potential reaction, if deemed necessary.

An exploit involves the player utilizing a coding loophole that's readily available in order to turn the game mechanics in their favor; and to an unfair advantage. So far as I can tell, the Double EXP/Gold glitch is just that. A glitch. Something that the player can't control. I just don't understand the outrage about this. It's getting patched eventually. And given the fanfare surrounding Double EXP weekend, it'll likely come back, and for veteran players (like Silver), it wouldn't be that hard to see your promotions skyrocket again and catch up to the other players.

Actually she never said you cheated however you just told us you did.  LOL. You wouldn't understand logic if it came up and whacked you in the head.

 

Having played many, many hours with both Bruder and Silver I can with 100% certainty tell you that they have absolutely never cheated in any lobby I was in.  In fact they seem to despise cheating and instead value commitment and skill

I can't tell if the leaderboards are like the Australian Outback, where everything is trying to kill you, or a Japanese drama film, where everyone sounds kind of angry but you can't really tell because you don't speak the language.

The ME3 leaderboards were more fun because it went beyond 100. Yeah, some of the top ten looked like they were some joint account, but most of the rest seemed legit enough. Having only 100 in DAIMP, I guess too much scarcity might be a bad thing.

While I understand the leaderboard should not include cheaters, you also have to realize the leaderboard isn't accurate to begin with...

The top left corner score in the menu don't match your leaderboard score. And your leaderboard score doesn't match your completed challenge + your number of promotions. Technically, those 3 scores should all have the same value, but they don't. That means the leaderboard is already lying to you every single day. Seeing a name that shouldn't be there shouldn't surprise you, it happened every day since launch...

Completely agree. Had the displeasure of dealing with this blatant douchebaggery. It was highly irritating. And while I took it in stride and stayed cordial. It was very unappreciated. And just down right rude.
