Greece will slowly undermine the value of the Euro, and similarly the moocher class (from a variety of income brackets, but all wanting money for nothing) will slowly erode the value of the Dollar. The question is, which erosion will happen quickest.

 

Then again, the abstraction that is currency is so divorced from actual value and/or purchasing power, if enough blue blooders in Europe pretend that the Euro goes farther... then it will... if enough descendants of oil and railroad barons pretend the Dollar goes farther, then it will. Currency exchanges are rarely any better a reflection of reality than Brian William's memory as far as I can tell.

all that hate towards a couple of minor bugs.....

 

first off we all know medalian cheated his way through every game he ever played (he's mentioned it proudly more than once) so everyone should just ignore him/

 

second its a co-op game, so when you get a random lvl 1 that's clearly bugged soloing nightmare while you all go down faster than a hos draws at the site of money just deal with it and get carried, you all get the same rewards at the end of the game, who cares if it took 12 minutes when it should have taken 45, just roll another game and hope you get similar results /

 

third bioware has responded to bugs a lot faster than some companies out there, one I wont name took 4 years to admit there was a problem despite people posting video's all over the internet on how to cheat using it, there name also began with a B........, and hundreds of others besides that invariably take 6 months plus to fix even minor problems (let alone major bugs like no key drop for the next round) and in the same time period Bioware has pushed out multiple patches, true not all were successful but they have fixed the majority of problems.

 

as to getting monster exp, I found that if you open a lobby as heartbreaker then switch to threatening you get the loot and exp expected then you have to make  new lobby and do it again .....but it only worked on the console and I only know this cos my 9 yr old told me its how he promoted 4 times in 3 hours .......

silverisking is a 65 year old guy, the leader boards is all he had in life to feel young and relavent, you all should understand his pain

 

I decided to refrain from "moaning" about other player's comments that I find personal and rude as Pork and his/her friends have pointed out.

It's rather poor sportsmanship to deride others in a game where the main theme of the game is supposed to be cooperation.  Some of the comments, as mentioned earlier, are so over the top that I'd suspect it to be a case deliberate trolling.
 

As for the leaderboards, I have a fair amount of experience of administrating one myself over at www.diablo3ladder.com and have come across many passionate players who emailed me directly in regards to those they accuse of cheating or botting.

The frustration is real and I understand that many players invest significant amounts of time to attaining high leaderboard positions only to see other's bypassing them with little to no effort through exploits or cheats. 

In those cases, I'm not able to help (a bit like Falconhoof in this sketch

saying "I do not possess the powers") as cheating in games is something that can't be fully eradicated - there's always some exploit, botting or cheat round the corner, though things can be mitigated somewhat by the developers of the game.

The only advise I have to such players is to continue enjoying the game for what it is and don't let those you perceive to exploiting the system to ruin it.  In a multiplayer game such as DAIMP, such veterans will have established themselves as someone with integrity by their own actions (don't need a leaderboard to quantify your reputation)

Holy.. way to blow what I said completely out of context, I guess it's my fault for trying to be lighthearted.

 

Ok, i'll break it down so there is no misunderstanding.

 

1. There is a bug, if you enter upon a game where it happens, don't feel like you've broken some kind of rule playing there.  But it's probably advisable to leave the lobby if the people playing there are purposefully doing an exploit. 

 

2. We're investigating the bug, and yes some people can reproduce it.  Reproducing =/= the solution is easy.

 

3. EXPLOITING a known bug for gain is against the TOS, and we are in no way condoning it, and could lead to you getting banned, which would suck.

 

Finally, stop taking what we say out of context in order to perpetuate an argument or point of view to suit your own goals or troll the forums.
