As Billy says it will need a patch so nothing is going to happen by tonight.
I think we have established that they are ignoring everything the devs actually said, unfortunately.

But they did address it when it was brought up. I brought it up on more than one occasion and was told it was being looked into. I remember other posters doing the same and getting a very similar message. While their response doesnt guarantee that the problem would be resolved it at least gave me the impression that they were going to try an address it, unfortunatly this doesnt seem to be the case anymore
I've been bringing it up forever and ever like a trillion times and it's never been addressed... Only time I've heard them mention it is on the live stream and they said something about "If you want to play with people in other countries, you just make a private game".
But if you heard more then that gives me a little bit of hope... It is probably the biggest thing dividing the community at the moment.

That is thing that bothers me.I can play public games only with people from Europe, but private from North America without problems.
Is it so hard to make some server browser?
Agreed - I dont remember which dev responded but they said they would look into it. Unfortunatly that was several months ago and I havent heard anything since
Oh I think I remember hearing something about the dev looking into matchmaking....

I do not obsess about the Leaderboards nor my rank. We do not play together, we haven't played since ME3. Saying that I am obsessed with my rank is pretty bold. I am sure most people who play with me could give a different testimony but, well, it is not a big deal. The Leaderboards are detested by many, the fact are only a minority of mostly elitists and/or DAMP lovers are part of it makes it worse. I wish they were like ME3 where every single player would be part of, and I have expressed this wish of mine a few times on the forums.
What concerns me about this glitch being abused is the integrity of the Leadeboards. It matters to me, as well as it matters to many players whom I play with. Were the Leaderboards more inclusive, more players would be concerned about this glitch and the way it is/will continue to be exploited.
Still, I welcome different view points on this matter, as negative or indifferent as they might be.
Of course you don't obsess about your leaderboard rank. That's why you put so many hours into maintaining it and spend so much time on here whining about how the exp bug is worse than actual game-breaking glitches that would actively diminish your enjoyment of the game. ![]()
Very few people here care about the "integrity of the leaderboards". I'm pretty sure most are just happy that for once there's a bug that doesn't make the game completely unplayable or unrewarding for them. Need I remind you about the recent weekend where server errors would leave you without rewards for about half of your games? That is a game-breaking issue.
Bioware folks said they are in the process of fixing it, so calm your ****** and get off their case.
So your suggesting that a great deal of the playerbase are now cheating? If Bioware punished everyone over the actions of the few then that would be development suicide - I cant see it happening personally

I'm actually going to have to defend them on this issue. While all the issues with matchmaking are far from being fixed, they have worked on it. It used to be that when I went looking for a pug, I would get "lost connection" messages followed by a long loading screen that would throw me back into the MP main menu. I would then have to go back into matchmaking, chose difficulty and map anew and do the same thing over again hoping that it would actually land me in a game. Now, while I still get "lost connection" messages, there is no long loading screen and my matchmaking parameters are not reset, saving me quite a bit of time compared to before.
It's far from perfect, but saying that they have done nothing about it is simply wrong.

You have no idea if it has been worked on or not. It could be that that players with the 56k dial up modems stopped playing. That long connection time is usually due the host having a terrible connection, I've waited for that loading screen for 10 minutes and been put in at a match where host has the worst connection in the history of mankind, I'd run 2 rooms into the map then be teleported right back to where I started.
The only thing that has been improved is pieces of the maps not dissapearing (as much) with high latency connection, but the matchmaking still has overly sensitive ping filtering and no way to connect with players around the world if no one is playing in neighbourhood.

Actually he can when this game came out there was no way we could play in the same game. Now while it's rare that we can host for each other (but I can for him sometimes) there are no issues actually playing anymore.

Holy.. way to blow what I said completely out of context, I guess it's my fault for trying to be lighthearted.
Ok, i'll break it down so there is no misunderstanding.
1. There is a bug, if you enter upon a game where it happens, don't feel like you've broken some kind of rule playing there. But it's probably advisable to leave the lobby if the people playing there are purposefully doing an exploit.
2. We're investigating the bug, and yes some people can reproduce it. Reproducing =/= the solution is easy.
3. EXPLOITING a known bug for gain is against the TOS, and we are in no way condoning it, and could lead to you getting banned, which would suck.
Finally, stop taking what we say out of context in order to perpetuate an argument or point of view to suit your own goals or troll the forums.
