MP features that should be in any good MP game :
Text chat > THIS
Server browser > Also THIS, THIS, AND THIS. No more P2P bullsh*t
Multiple game modes > as long as it's not PVP
Vote system > Vote kick? we have this currently
NO RNG !!! > There's no emote to describe how much I approve of this.
That's just the basics
Pretty much agree with everything here.

Also, a mode where one side controls mob spawns or special units would be a fun way to incorporate pvp and not have to worry about kit balancing. At the very least, having several game types would be great.

Text chat please, I'm not sure why they didn't have it in DAMP because there was demand for it.

That kind of PVP I could get behind. I would have loved to have controlled Cerberus in ME3MP....I really felt their tactical potential was severely underplayed by Bioware. Turrets on choke points, Nemesises coordinating attacks with Dragoons, Phantom shenannigans ![]()

I agree but I'm afraid it would ruin balance.removal of character kits,
customize your own multiplayer character.
It could also force Bioware to buff some powers nobody would pick (e.g. Pull working through shield like Lash, or at least priming shielded/armored targets)

I will never understand all the people who say they dont want MP at all.
Several people enjoyed ME3MP and still play it today (it's far from dead). It is developed by a separate team as well, so it has no affect on SP.
Anyways, things they should do to ME:A imo:
- Customizable Characters: Choose the race, and the class. You start off with humans, 6 classes, 2 basic powers for each class, and the basic starting weapons and armour. As you get packs, you unlock new races (race only affect durability, speed, appearance. Powers ARE NOT locked to certain races, only to classes), new powers, weapons, armour, attachments, gear, weapon ammo, and heavy melee attacks (class and race specific)
- Weapons: Weapons function the same as they did in ME3, 2 attachments and one ammunition upgrade (ammo types are the only consumables in the game). Skill with weapons can be improved by improving that specific talent.
- Armour: You can unlock armours for your characters (armours are race specific, not class specific), and each armour has protection, shield, mobility traits, and one additional bonus stat. They will all be balanced to be effective. Each armour is able to have 3 pieces of gear equipped (since there will be no more equipment consumables)
- Leveling up: When a character levels up they can invest points in two different tree's. The power tree and talent tree. Power tree is similar to ME3's level up system, with branching paths, but is only applicable to powers. The talent tree is similar to ME1's level up system, but only applies to passive traits (weapon training, fitness, melee, power boosts, etc.)
- Increase no. of waves: Make the mode have more waves, something like 20 waves would be great, with wave 19 being the boss wave (major boss, like a campaign boss or something, not just atlases or geth prime), and wave 20 being the extraction wave. Objective waves are waves 5, 10, and 15. Bring back old objectives, and add some new ones (not much input on this tbh)
- Get rid of consumables (aside from weapon ammo): have players start all matches with 2 ammo packs, 1 rocket, 2 medi-gel, and 2 health packs, every match. This would fix the annoying part of having to buy packs to get basic functionality, and the lower count will encourage players to use them wisely.
- Equipment = Gear: Get rid of equipment as consumables, and make more gear options that can be linked to your armour.
- Races: Include humans, salarians, turians, asari, batarians, geth, quarians, krogan, and vorcha. The new races can be added as well.

Three main menu options.
Team Mode
Team Space Mode
PVP modes.
I have not played pvp games often in the past and would not play much in the next game but if it was a separate menu item in the main menu I would have no problem having it for the many people that actually like it.
Team mode would be much like ME3MP but with a few tweaks.
Team Space mode would be team space battles with upgradeable ships and such.
However the top 99 out of 100 things on the list for ME4MP would be Stability.

More Giant robot Dinosaurs. we are sorely under represented in gameing.
failing that add the Ymr and Loki units to the races.

I personally would like to see the robots/drones/synthetic 'races' be given an overhaul in terms of character creation and customization. Instead of swapping out this chest piece for a slightly armored one, I would love to see manufactured kits actually swap out parts of their chassises. Make it modular.
You start out with a base frame and can then swap out parts as you see fit. The AI is just software so the same intelligence can operate with a lithe Geth platform or a hulking YMIR setup. Allow players to drastically alter their character as a synthetic. For instance, instead of picking a Geth Engineer, or a Geth Juggernaut, you pick a base and then build onto it with various systems and auxiliaries.
Want to be a Geth Soldier? Build up your platform with built-in heat sinks for greater firing rate, add additional armor components for frontline combat.
Want to be a Geth Hopper? Install the appropriate systems and power supplies. You may have to sacrifice armor for mobility, but as long as your power core can operate all the equipment there should be no limitations on the amount of variations that you can employ.

Yes similar to lets say Medabots ect. or the armor in SP.
add a Serta ect to your optics. then kill the pathetic organics.

I think they should try a Moba style game. It felt ME3 build such a rich multiplayer options but it was used only in a simple horde mode.

I'd take a page from L4D2's versus mode if they wanted to include a PvP mode. The 4 survivors were same as normal. The Infected were a mix of perpetually respawning AI mook units and player controlled special units, and could choose spawnpoints.
http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Versus
They could have the good guys fighting through a linear map like that (or DA:MP's), or they could just superimpose the infected faction upon ME3MP's typical wave budget/ objective system.

Vote system for vote kick, but also why not to vote enemy/map/game mode for next match
The problem with that is how to make 4 people agree in what map and enemy type / faction are they going to play next.
Vote kick is more simple instead: a guy's a jerk and tries to go into gold with a Predator I and nothing else, and the rest will agree to kick him most of the time. But, in a hell lot bunch of maps and a few enemies to choose from, everyone is gonna have a different preference 90% of the time.

I like it.
Make it happen BioWare, though 4 players vs 4 players (I'm guessing) with respawning cannon fodder on one side might be a bit unfair.

I'd like to see environmental hazards already built into the main maps (rather than having Hazard forms). It'd also be nice to get some more verticality on certain maps. Maybe at some point we can engage in special operation type missions that are more challenging than horde mode; but reward us in a different way than the usual credit/xp bonus.
Apart from that, I'd really like them to experiment more with team combos and start having priming abilities behave differently if they come into contact with other priming abilities. As an example, if Incinerate is launched into a Singularity, then the Singularity takes on its burning properties and burns enemies in radius of it. This could also lead to new detonations. So far the example I gave, it could be called a Supernova detonation (Biotic + Flame) that does fire damage in a medium sized radius, weakens, and does high damage to armor.
