With the Korths Might upgrade (which gives 50% damage bonus with Fire Affinity), does Skywatchers Cleaver chain lightning ability do increased damage as well? Or does it still only do the 100% weapon damage?

Consider this chain lighting effect a ability which just proc at random.
So it that sense it would scale with any buffs/stats/ you have.

I've used it with whirlwind and I got the chain lightning damage up to 4k a strike. It scales

Does the chance for proc occur with every tic of damage you do or is there an internal cooldown? Wondering if its worth using over the Dragon Maul.

I use it on my avvar. Damage output is a bit lower, but the chain lightning is nice, the HoK is very nice and its easier to hit multiple targets with a greatsword, restoring your stamina bit faster.
