I am completely being serious here. I loved DA2, am sad not many did.

 

I love DA2 for what it is, but it's held back by being built on the back of Origins. I kind of wish they'd jumped straight to Inquisition's dev cycle and used DA2's good themes to prop up Inquisition's complete lack of heart.

 

Origins is I think the game that knows what it is. It's the one that stands on it's own two feet. You can craft a story of a young hero with it, and go on this big journey. The journey is a bit brown and the gameplay a bit dull but it pushes on regardless.

Either that or make DAII an expansion which introduced Hawke who would someday grow to lead the Inquisition. That would be the most interesting, to me atleast. That way you could have the personal story and then be introduced to saving Thedas.
