As someone who has lived in South Carolina his entire life: Please shut the **** up about the Confederate Flag already. Stop making it relevant. Stop bringing it up. Stop telling the hicks you care. It's not even on the State House grounds anymore. IMO, it officially no longer exists, and we should treat it as such nationwide. Actually, **** that. Worldwide.

And while people were focusing on that flag, no one cared that both the US Senate and Obama fastracked TPP.

It cracks me up how conservatives always laud the values of free market economics and capitalism but then go crying to mommy every time a trade agreement is passed by a liberal president that breaks down the barriers to international trade, like NAFTA or the TPP.

I'm not saying I agree with either of those pieces of legislation (especially the TPP's "hidden" clauses), but people need to get their political platforms straight.
