Has anyone worked out how this proc actually works? It does work as occasionally I get guard added to my character, but it certainly does not work every time that the sound effect triggers. I just haven't been able to figure the pattern and would appreciate any insights.

It's been weird for me too. It almost seems like the area of effect on the skill trigger changes randomly. I've gotten near full guard off of one enemy then 10% to none off of 5+. Not that I mind because i'm invincible anyways. Legionnaire OP

Yeah, when it does proc it just seems to do 10% for me, no matter how many enemies are around.

Yeah, I've noticed that it's pretty random with the Guard generation.

I've also noticed that if you have Walking Fortress upgraded and it procs on Hakkon's Honor, you can activate Walking Fortress and get double the amount of Guard you'd normally get from getting hit.  A bit surprised that it stacks like that, but I'm not complaining.   :P

It might have something to do with the enemy hitboxes. Like a Revenant sometimes being counted as several enemies

And I think with the upgrade on Walking Fortress you get the cooldown reductions too

It's so unreliable for Unbowed (but Walking Fortress is still amazing ofc) that I just retired it and I am using bitter axe instead. Explosions everywhere ftw.

Dat sweet, sweet Bitter Axe.

That's why Blizzard's Path mage staff is also amazing.
