Ok this was formerly know as "What do you want to see in ME: A multiplayer, BIOWARE please focus on MULTIPLAYER PLEASE!, to the latest title STAND ALONE MULTIPLAYER

Mass Effect can be one of the best Multiplayer games out there mixed with exploration and endless deaths. want to distance yourself from MASSEFFECT 3 while keeping the same game core mechanics? starting fresh? Multiplayer is there! SOMETHING LIKE THIS

I never thought I would say this but I really neglected Multiplayer in ME3 then I  gave it a try and I am hooked... it has alot of POTENTIAL. Well I just started ME3 multiplayer like 2 months ago on PC AND I AM BLOWN AWAY!, I unlocked the collector awakening character yesterday too awesome char!

Anyway aside from horde mode what kind of modes do you want to see? is PVP welcome? capture the flag? build bases open world style and raid each other?

~to be honest I really don't care about the single player aspect of the game anymore since it is already a sandbox game there are already tons like it out there and I don't quite feel comfortable with the new setting that is Andromeda in order to distance themselves with the crap in ME3/plot or characters. However, the Multiplayer is really really good I must say, I think the closest I can get to its feel is WARFRAME a free to play game on Steam.

Would you like the ability to import your multiplayer characters or start fresh?

I do not want to pay 60 bucks on a single player game mode  full of plotholes and pure dissatisfaction

I am more willing to drop 60 bucks on a full blown standalone MASS EFFECT MULTIPLAYER complete with different modes, hard core modes, boss raids, loots and co-op exploration / hunting, and all sorts of multiplayer goodness.

PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN BIOWARE

More of the same with new maps and shinier graphics. More biotic booms. More ragdolling phant00ms and g00ns with Venom.

More High Lord Claymore.

More asari asses.

well it would be great as an addition along with 6 vs 6 or maybe even 10 vs 10 if possible. Hope no hackers will plague the freaking servers

Let's keep he same multiplayer, let me port my old characters over, make new characters, and give a solid and amazing story IMHO.

I haven't played ME3 in awhile, but I was really hooked to the multiplayer for awhile when it came out.  I look forward to whatever Andromeda has in store in terms of multiplayer :).  More diversity in terms of gameplay never hurt, and I like what the OP suggested.  I don't really care about fresh start/import because all my old characters are on my fried PS3 and I switched to PC.

That red text, though.........

Seriously, OP, you should think about changing the color of that red text.  It hurt my eyes when I read it, and I don't have issues seeing certain colors (20/13 vision, which is actually better than 20/20 from what I've been told).

On Topic:  Going for a heavy MP focus wouldn't actually work for ME:A since it is a continuation on the Mass Effect series, but going in a different direction.  Not sure how ME is now a sandbox game, though.  If you're talking about how DA:I was, I'll admit, there were a few sandbox elements in it, but on the whole, it was more of an open-world RPG than anything.

As interesting as For Honor is, it seems like it was made for multiplayer for the most part and it's its own thing.  BW making ME:A into a MP-heavy game would definitely ****** off a lot of the fanbase since ME, along with DA, has always had a heavy story focus.  ME3 MP was added on as an 'experiment' to see if people would enjoy being able to play online with other people in the Mass Effect setting.  The fact that it was so well-received doesn't mean that BW should make ME:A into a MP-heavy game.  Just like with sandbox games, there are a lot of games with a heavy MP focus (COD is a huge one, as well as Destiny and dozens of others).

DA:I had MP due to the success with ME3 MP, but it wasn't exactly all that polished when the game launched.  BW's still newish to MP, so just because ME3 MP was a huge success, doesn't mean that the quality seen in that will carry over to subsequent versions of it.

Horde mode is great but it gets quite repetitive. The closest thing we can geth (lol) to capture the flag is "bring the device back" no imagine against real players xD ohhh the chaos and trash talking hahaha

They can keep the Single Player aspect but the MULTIPLAYER should be the selling point. Customizable weapons, colors, skins, different game modes, classic or capture the flag, "hold the line", raid boss, loot, freaking raid bases, build bases together and kill each other you name it.

In my opinion I don't think ME:A is a continuation at all... it's more of a different "POV" of the reaper war evacuating and crap... it is like a spin off or I don't know thinking about it makes my heart and head hurt already that is why Multiplayer really is appealing to me right now. All the characters you love in a freaking meat grinder! also I thought the fanbase was already dead and f***** up due to ME3

also sorry for the red text... changing to blue.

That................ sounds an awful lot like COD.

It is continuing the series, though.  A lot of people believe it'll take place well after ME3, so there's a serious chance that it won't touch on the Reaper War at all (at least, in terms of a plot perspective).  Then again, we know almost nothing about it as of right now, so there's just a hell of a lot of speculation.

As for the fanbase, I'm pretty sure it's far from dead (if ME3 killed the fanbase, I doubt we'd get ME:A).  As for it being screwed up.......... well, idk about the rest of the fanbase, but people here on BSN have, for the most part, gotten over ME3.  Still have people who're still butthurt about it despite it being 3 years old, but they're the minority.

also sorry for the red text... changing to blue.

Thanks.   :)

I wonder, do COD players create "Treyarch focus on meaningful choices please!" threads on COD forums?.

SOMETHING LIKE THIS

Like what? Arm everyone with omni-shields and omni-swords, give them omni-catapults to storm omni-castles?

I hardly ever log in but I just had to so I could say how much I disagree with you. What you want is so much further away from what I want in the next Mass Effect. Mass Effect Andromeda should remain focused entirely on the single player experience. I don't mind multiplayer as long as it doesn't take anything away from the singleplayer.

COD is FPS, this is third person in space I think players in ME are more mature than COD kids. Kinda like WARFRAME you know.

you can not 360 NO SCOPE and magic knife in MASSEFFECT. Multiplayer on this game is more "teambased" than killstreak 360 quickscope. [Trust me I know what I am saying I play nothing but first person shooters look at my sig.] COD is one of the worse crap ever, then there are some cool fps games which promotes legal hacking like black light retribution which prevents campers. CS GO is basically a hack fest

The singleplayer and the multiplayer are being developed by two separate teams on two separate budgets.

Completely agree. Bioware have made some of favourite RPGs ever.

Games such as Knights of the Old Republic, ME1, ME2 and Dragon Age: Origins are classics not only because of their high quality but crucially, because you seldom find other RPGs that can replicate their fantastic storytelling and excellent characters.

I'd prefer not to see the potential for another great RPG slip down the drain just for yet another online multiplayer shooter which you can find in abundance today.

No. Just no.

No what? There are tons of multiplayer games you can play. No need to turn every game into a multiplayer game. Mass Effect started as a single player focused game and should stay that way.
