Over the weekend I noticed this challenge.  It is called Agent Of The Inquisition, and looks like you need to find 5 chapters of Varric's book.  What is this challenge all about.  I have 1/5 complete, but how the heck did I get the 1?  What's the scoop folks?

It looks like rather than the same missive from your usual advisers explaining why we need 50 kills with each weapon, they have gotten a slightly different reason provided by Varric for why we are killing 50 things with each weapon.

 

The little splash screen telling us about the weekend task was written by Varric.

It still says Varris. When does Varris/the spider appear in DAIMP? Maybe Tumi knows him.

This chapter was about your newest recruits joining the Inquisition. All the agents that you gain levels for are the agents given to you either when you start DAIMP or when you download Dragonslayer.

 

Also, it still says "Varris" in the thread title, city boy.

The connection seems pretty straight forward to me, he is telling the tale like he was DA2, in past tense.

Am I the only person who misses the screen where the Inquisition explains why we are doing weekend events? It seems like about 2/3 of the time it does not pop up for me.

LOL finally fixed.  I suppose he could be a good character.  First off he gives a great deal of misinformation to the enemies, second gives fashion advice (specially to the AW), and third—if all else fails he can morph into a spider and... well, use that imagination BSN... on second thought....

I like varric. But i'd rather not go into the reasons why because I don't want this to turn into a SP character discussion thread.

Completely. He was a total bro in DA2. He took a level in angst in Inquisition, but still.
