Everything AW. Seriously. People take a dump on the hakkon staff, but for the AW it's great.

Anything that can crit, which excludes any Dot abilies, or single turned aoe abilities (stonefist).
On a related note, Hakkons staff is really good for an AW, but starts to lose its luster on other classes.

Yeah, pretty much anything that can crit. Spells with high Ability multipliers or damage bonuses get a slightly better bang-for-the-buck out of crit damage due to the multiplication in the damage formula.
