Seems that Keep logic won't allow me to recreate my actual male human noble playthrough of Origins:

  • Did the ritual with Morrigan (can't remember if my main character did it or if I ordered one of the others to bed her): can't even find that option
  • Warden survived: won't let me choose this because said ritual option is missing
  • Loghain made grey warden: won't let me pick this option as keep thinks someone has to die (again, ritual would fix this)
  • Alistair rules with Anora: not allowed, same as above, Keep wants someone dead because ritual option is misisng
  • followed Morrigan in witch hunt: Keep thinks that clashes with Leilana romance. Didn't matter in the game.
  • Leilana romanced: Keep says it has to be Morrigan because of the above. Keep is dumb as a bag of rocks.

So, am I missing something or is there really no option to select Morrigan's ritual? Just about everything I am trying to select is refused and Keep keeps telling me someone has to die killing the Archdemon

You can only follow Morrigan if you romanced her - that's the way it's always been. And you need to set the "Morrigan had an OGB tile" for the Dark Ritual to be acknowledged

Where do you set Morrigan's child? This seems to be the option I am missing.

Only romancing Morrigan and Leliana at the same time is a thing that is actually not supposed to happen and thus not possible in the Keep. Everything else is there in the Keep, you must have missed it. Look at all the tapestry sections.

Yes I believe I had something going with both for a long time but eventually settled for Leliana, must be the reason I could follow Morrigan despite Leliana being my real romance. Unless I misremember and following her was in another playthrough, bit dicey to recall all these details after 6 or so years.

Hi snow0815, really? Yes it's bugged, I haven't tried to use this new world thingie yet on console, but decide its no point wasting time if it can't.  in fact I didn even know need to, until I saw anders  whom I hate. Totally new to all these.

Luckily it's optional but you might want to make the changes that affect who appears and offers quests. Some of it has questionable logic, like insisting that someone had to die killing the Archdemon when you try to select who is ruling or that Loghain is sill alive when the setting it should really point you to is the god child, which is slightly hidden away. Once I found that setting I had few other issues. I wish you could load a saved game though to parse your choices as the Keep is very time consuming and some choices are really obscure and hard to recall even if you replayed the games not that long ago. Or to customize Hawke.

Hi there,

the thing with Morrigan is not a bug on Keep's part. Rather, it is a bug in game. Witch Hunt has a bug in testing the romance flag, so no matter whom you romanced in-game, you actually end up being able to go through the mirror, even though this should be only avaliable to loyal romance of Morrigan's. It has happend to me as well, I had no intention of romancing Morrigan, went only with Leliana (well, according to game, not only, but Zevran is... kinda forcing himself on me), forgot about it for a while while doing Awakening and ended up going through the mirror in Witch Hunt, only to be slapped across hand by Keep. I figured this out by replaying the last scene in Witch Hunt and noticing that while Morrigan was reserved all along, the last few lines actualy used "my love" and "my dearest", which, to be honest, would she NEVER called me in the playthrough (final score 34 "Warm").

Well, I tried using the online tool Dragon Age Save Analyzer from StinStin. You can found it here: http://dragonage.stinstin.comIt has very high recall precision, even though it's comunity-made. Works for any sub-campaign, be it Origins, Awakening, Witch Hunt or Golems, as well as DAII. It has saved me the hassle of having a pen and paper ready in game and then twisting my mind around the few remaining quest-end invalidating bugs that there are (Isolde, Eluvian etc). Also, I couldn't remember all the K\.* names from DAII, but this tool kinda puts them in context, so it's a bit easier.
