OK so new DA DLC coming out seems to cause a lot of relevance for this fan fic and the 'Trevelyan Inquisition' in general.  Spoilers for the DLC to follow/ speculation.  

 

So we know that the DLC takes place two years after the main game.  It is suspected that the DLC will have something to do with the ultimate fate of the Inquisition:

In it it talks about 'whatever happens to the Inquisition' and 'chose your legacy'. That sort of thing.

 

Also, comments by David Gaider suggests that Inquisition takes place over three years in time period.  People who are way smarter then me and actually crunched Theodosian geography have crunched the nubers and have seemingly backed up the claim.  And again, we know the current DLC takes place two years after the main game.  

 

Thus the time line that I am opperating from is:  

 

9:41 Dragon

• The Survivor emerges from the Fade at the Temple of Sacred Ashes.  
• The Survivor becomes an agent of the Inquisition.  
• The Survivor visits Val Royeux.  
• The Survivor visits Therinfall Redoubt and saves the Templars from the influence of the Elder One.  

9:42 Dragon

• The Breach is closed.  
• Haven is attacked and sacked.  
• Skyhold his rediscovered and the Survivor is named Inquisitor of the Inquisition.  
• The battle of Adamant.  
• The Assassination of Empress Celene at the hands of Grand Duchess Florianne.  

9:43 Dragon

• The Inquisition visits the Temple of Mythal.  
• The Inquisition visits the Frostback Basin searching for clues of the previous Inquisitor and Inquisition.  

9:44 Dragon

• The Elder One is defeated.  The war is over.  
• Cassandra Pentaghast is named Divine Victoria.  

9:45 Dragon

• The Inquisition investigates tremors in the Deep Roads causing major damage.
• The Inquisition investigates the Orlesian plot (Game of Shadows)

9:46 Dragon

• Tresspasser.

Now bear in mind the entry for 43/ 44 Dragon might seem a bit short but in my playthrough this is likely when most of the companion stuff and book keeping happened.  The Inquisitor for instance when back and forth through Orlais hither and thither throughout the region, up one end, and down the other.  Thus, no matter what happens during Tresspasser my current fic takes place before its events.  This is important to me because well I try and keep my fics matching canon.  

 

Anyways, thoughts, questions, comments, concerns?  Is it a bit thin? Does it need more balance?

SO yes I managed to get two chapters up last night.  Quite an acomplishment for me but things are moving along, gt six pages of the net one done.  So finally moving towards the climax as well.  Things are finally starting to come together.
