There will be no imported savegames or an equivalent to Dragon Age Keep. The devs already said so on Twitter.
Was just about to reply with that before I saw you already did.
There won't be save importing in ME:A, end of story. And considering how relatively little impact importing had in the previous games, it's not much of a loss.

I don't recall them ever stating they wouldn't.

They did. The link has been posted several times in this forum but I'm too lazy to look for it.
ME:A is a soft reboot of the franchise, of course they want as little as possible to do with the old trilogy. They especially don't want to have a massive amount of work covering every possibility.
If we imported our savegames, then ME:A would have to reflect all those decisions. Can you imagine the clusterfuck? ^^

I'd have to see it for myself. I do recall some discussion by Bioware on Twitter, but it was more along the lines of "new players not having to worry" which doesn't necessarily mean they're not doing it, just that it's not exactly needed. Still open for new players without entirely shunning the old. Kinda like you can watch and understand Lord of the Rings despite never seeing Hobbit.
But if it's something a lot more direct, then well, them's the breaks.

My certain suggestions, like the Urdnot Mordin one, were pretty minor. Minor enough to only exist in the first Andromeda (assuming it's a trilogy) and ignored throughout the rest.
But in the end, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. I won't ******, juts some extra flavor I'd personally like to see.

Then find it. They said it awhile ago. ME:A isn't going to have imports from ME1-3 or a keep. that's the ENTIRE REASON they took it to ANOTHER GALAXY...
If they were gonna address the ME3 ending and/or allow saves they'd of NEVER left the Milky Way.
caps for emphasis only. It get's a little old seeing this though. They've said it more than once. If you don't believe it or "have to see it yourself" then go looking for it yourself.

Your hostility is unfounded. Perhaps you're getting a little tired, but that's your problem in the end, not mine. Simple discussion is simple discussion, speculation is speculation. Devs change what they say and their minds all the time. Whether that's for political reasons, creative reasons, or limitations.
As for finding it, I don't know any of the devs names. Google results bring up a variety of topics, but very little for Twitter. I think it would make far more sense for the people who know to teach the ignorant and use the source that apparently exists, but evidently, that's too much of a problem for the people growing tired.

You can pretty much close this thread, it discusses something that's no longer relevant.
When was this? Do you have a source on this twitter post?

Yes, this was the specific Twitter post I was talking about with this post.
While it says it's a great starting point and you don't have to worry about saves, it doesn't exactly confirm there will be no importing. Like my Hobbit to Lord of the Ring comparisons. Sure, you don't have to watch The Hobbit to get Lord of the Rings, but that doesn't mean there aren't references to it.
Maybe there won't be save importing, and that's what he means. PR way of talking is to be as vague as possible.

I find the next comment even more important: "There is no canon ending to ME3. Player choice is something we take very seriously."
If there is no savegame import and no canon ending... connect the dots yourself.

Perhaps. They did write themselves into a wall with more than just the endings. Your choices in Mass Effect had very huge effects on populations.
I really do wish game devs would be more direct in their confirmations.

Lolwut?
That why the trilogy is a linear corridor shooter where you play the same stages against the same enemies with the same RGB endings(not just ME3)?
That why someone whom played Cerberus loyal in ME2 gets the same game as someone who's anti-Cerb in 3?
Why people whom chose Anderson as councilor have that decision retconned in 3?
Etc, etc
The best thing BW Montreal could do is drop the underwhelming save import function and the silly "epic galaxy changing choices!" that the Edmonton branch falsely promised that they couldn't have ever delivered upon(not that I think they ever had any intention to).
