Ah that's different because matchmaking is actually broken, so i'm with you on that. I'm talking about the posters who are in populated regions and can actually enjoy the game but chose to QQ about something that should not even effect their enjoyment. Them and the cheaters who are QQ'ing because they might get banned.

Ah that's different because matchmaking is actually broken, so i'm with you on that. I'm talking about the posters who are in populated regions and can actually enjoy the game but chose to QQ about something that should not even effect their enjoyment. Them and the cheaters who are QQ'ing because they might get banned. 

You can't tell people how to enjoy a game and for what reasons.  That is your 1st mistake.

Read the whole quote again, I said people who can actually enjoy the game meaning the people who have friends they can play with or at the very least the matchmaking works for them, but chose to focus on something that has no bearing on their ability to play the game or even enjoy the game.

Some players literally derive joy and pride on seeing their names at the top of the leaderboards. That's why they're getting upset when other players are, presumably, 'illegitimately' rising above their rank.

 

Personally, I don't see the point of it, but I recognize that a fair number of players really value it. Different strokes for different folks.

And that's fine I suppose but Bioware have already said their looking into it, the overreaction from some people has been hilarious. One guy literally claimed he would boycott all Bioware games as a result

The speed with which I suddenly became aware of a group of people so obsessed with something that they launch into rage-fueled attacks, rampant accusations of cheating, and wild absurd hyperbole non-stop was pretty staggering.

 

Never before has something that effected so few people and harmed no one been made out to be an issue of such massive proportions.

I want to be able to run into battle as an Elcor with Mabari stacked on my back, and deploy them to run around the field biting our enemies. I might be mixing up my franchises slightly.

Oh, but this is BSN. It's part of "the culture" here to tell everyone else how "wrong" they are for not doing things the way you do. I have fallen into the trap of feeling the need to dictate how others should play on several occasions, despite my best efforts. I am pretty sure BioWare is a secret government organization testing the effect of chemical agents they are pumping through the vents as we speak.

Believe me I know, I havent played that trash game in a very long time but the forums were hilarious
