More presets and all around customization options in the CC

I would like to request or hope at least that the varity in presets for the CC in ME:A are more varied and for lack of a better word more diverse. I understand that given the futuristic period the game takes place in most people are of mixed races but I don't think that including more racial diverse presets and customization choices in the CC could be at all harmful. After all you should get to make your player character how you would like and the more options for that the better imo. If I want to make a wide varity of player characters I think the CC should allow for that and as someone who honestly is not the best with making faces and working with the facial structures in CCs more diverse presets would greatly help with that. So I would greatly like to see more varied presets to help with making a wide range of looks for the player characters in the ME:A CC.

EDIT: Things such as better lighting should be a must as well, regardless of how good the CC options are they'll be hard to implement with poor lighting, I have had several times where I have had to remake a character after seeing them in, in game light compared to CC light and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Someone mentioned wanting to be able to rotate the character all the way and I agree with that as well, along with being able to tilt the camera to different angles and maybe a little bit of zoom as well.

I also saw hair mentioned quite a bit, I didn't put it in the OP originally since it seemed to really go with out saying what with hair being a usual weak point for the company and with other threads already covering it. But yes I would very much like to avoid what happened with the DAI hair, with it feeling out of setting, looking very plastic, and having weirdly placed hairlines and sideburns on them.

This game is going to be on FB3 like DA:I, so we'll probably get an improved version of that style of CC.

I'd like either no presets, or one that is basically a featureless blob where I can start from scratch.

That increases the chances that I'll end up with the face I want, rather than one that shares features with a preset.

I don't think it's technically realistic to do a featureless blob. The sliders presumably have to be set to something, even if it's random. Presumably having no value for any one slider would just give you an error.

Hopefully with better lighting. I recall having a lot of trouble with lips in that games CC too but thats an error on my part I'm sure. Like I mentioned I'm not the best with making a face from scratch^^;

I would still like more varied presets to work with imo the DAI ones didn't feel too varied to me for some reason.

Then random. Or everything at maximum.

I want the option to start with something that isn't a finished face.

Currently, I suppose I could simulate this by starting with the preset that looks the least like the character I'm imagining.

Hopefully with better lighting.

We should be allowed to tweak it at any point during the game.

But it's vital that they not make the mistake ME3 did. I just started that, and going through character creation, followed by the interactive comic to choose a worldstate, followed by that long opening scene, takes nearly an hour. And if I don't like the face once I see it in the game, I get to start over.

Allow me to spin my character 180 degrees. No horrible "duhr its animated in the game look how revolutionary we are!" bullshit that doesn't allow me to get the angles I want.

So basically an improved version of DAI's CC.

Something that actually looks like hair and some decent hairstyles would be nice as well. I can't understand how the artist can create all those beautiful and amazingly detailed landscapes but fail so bad when it comes to hair.

A better cc would be nice . I wasnt impressed with DAI CC..if anything it felt worse .

-Better HAIR (and no tie between female and males Hair)

-Better scars & Tattoos (More choices)

-Better Light when you make your charachter . It always looked good..and when I start the game...its back to delete !! You think thats normal BW ????

-Better COLORS . for make up and for hair . In Previous Mass effect we didn't have that many colors . And for the love of everything PLEASE GIVE ME BACK THE GOLD COlor from DAO . I'm so sick of the Fade yellow that look like Puke !

Some face presets for Races are just non-existant, and cannot be made using other Race presets because the major Distinct Facial features are not there.

For BioWare, the main thing is to have good lightning during the CC.

but other than that, I'd love to see more customization in general.

and better hair options.

I strongly oppose gender restrictions on hair. All hairstyles should be available to both genders.

Especially since this game uses FB, so modding is going to suck.

So long as they don't slap male pattern baldness or sideburns on them, I don't mind hair being shared between the genders. Though I do worry after how it went with DAI that it wouldn't get much better in MEA.

Sorry know you weren't addressing me just wanted to throw in my two cents on hair being shared between genders.

I said no tie cose the hair in DAI Suuucked..........really did suck .

So they make them unisex or watever..to make it seem like there are ALOT to choose from..but when they all suck.....or maybe just one hairdo is good.....

Hair options need to be 100x better than DA:I. Not just long hair for females but the facial hair was beyond bad. Also need depth options for facial features. All my DA:I chars have the same flat face from the side view.

The hair doesn't need to be unisex in order to be available to both genders.  I'd like to see some really masculine hairstyles and some really feminine hairstyles and some unisex hairstyles.  But I want them all available to both genders.

Even if set to random, any face is technically a finished face.

In DA:I the best male hairstyle... was given to Commander Sheper... err "Cullen" (nice hair) and my bro Alistair . The best female hair (in my personal opinion) was given to Cassandra. Regrettably a great deal of effort was put into making our inner circle look and feel unique (Armor, hair, body type, dialogue) and the Protagonist thus suffered (identical armor, shared common hairstyles, one body type, mostly flat and one sided dialogue).

I hope this time around they put more effort into making our protagonist feel and look unique. If this "Pathfinder" is to be my avatar, he/she must look the part.

I'm hoping for body morph options this time around. That way if they decide to add something like the double chin option into the game there will be a body type to go with it. Also body tattoos, if i'm playing a space outlaw then i want to look like one.
