Mate, there is no medium Qunari armor. Also, the schematics you get are based on the level of the character when you get the "shipment." You will get upgraded schematics as you level up...just like the Spoils of the Avvar pack.

You can use certain mats to unlock the restrictions. If it's heavy, use silverite. If it's medium, use snowfleur skin. If it's light... I don't remember which mat it is. But yes, you can remove the restrictions. This has been the case since release.

So it's not the same as the Avvar pack where there weren't any armor restrictions? Like a mage could wear the heavy armor w/o using silverite?

The Avvar schematics do not require class removing materials to put them on any class, neither does the Formal Attire schematic. Maybe the Qunari schematics are similar in this respect. To check click the schematic in the creation window and it will show any restrictions.

There are no class restrictions on the armors, like the Avvar ones. Anyone can wear them even though they're technically under the 'light' and 'heavy' sections.

They are, however, visually glitched to high heaven, at least for males.

And no, I'm not using any mods so you can't blame it on that. I'm honestly disgusted by how sloppy this is.

Except if you're a Qunari. Then the tints for armor don't actually show up. Woo!

Sigh. What a disappointment. I wish I could say that either of these things surprised me.

Ignoring the glitched models up there, I will again state that I'm astonished they have the gall to release these things at $5 each when the stellar all-class item packs for DA2 released at the same price and had 40 usable items in each pack.

Each of those DA2 pack consists of three class packs, which would individually be $3 each. Thats $9. Maybe if you wait a bit, you get some "Spoils of ..." bundle as well.
DA2 packs contain exactly 0 thrones, 0 decors, 0 beds, 0 draperies, 0 heraldries, 0 banners, 0 mounts, 0 schematics. Any armour in DA2 packs is only usable by 1 character.

On a more serious note. How about "Spoils of Darkspawn"? The glass should be based on those picturing the Chant scenes.

You wrote the same thing in another thread, and it was just as irrelevant then. None of those items apply to DA2.

The packs had useful and attractive weapons and accessories that were usable by everyone. And broken down by sheer numbers, offered much more value for the price.

Besides, these items also seem to be bugged to all hell. Will you defend that as a feature as well?

And if you'll look at their pricing, the all class packs for DA2 are $4.99 on the playstation network and 400 Bioware/Microsoft points on Xbox/PC. Which is... not $9. A similar bundle of spoils will likely be priced higher, offer the same dearth of content in comparison. Is that supposed to fix things?

And it seems like you're suggesting that the individual packs are a rip off, and the all-class packs are a deal. I agree.

Those do apply in DAI and it is content. If you are not interested in decor and other cosmetic items, there is obviously not much value in Spoils packs.
Then again you do seem somewhat interested, if your endless complaints about dragon props availability is anything to go by.

Right, the items are broken - some can not be tinted. Care to remind me how many DA2 items can be tinted? Does not apply in DA2? Yet you do count individual armour pieces, which do not apply in DAI. Hope they fix that, but those who plan on tinting should be warned.

But hey, feel free not to buy. I did not - Qunari and Avvar trinkets are among the things I don't want to see in Skyhold.

Did you seriously not see the images I posted of how visually broken the armor is? That's not a 'tinting' issue.

Oddly you seem very excited and defending about all those spoils today, which doesn't make sense if you're not buying.

Yes, you're right. Which is why I made sure to note, again, the proportion of relevant content you're getting relative to the price. I count a chair, a horse, and 2 armors (4 armors if you want to count the items and the schematics separately). So, either 4 pieces of usable content, or 6 pieces of usable content, depending on how nitpicky you're in the mood to be. $5.

Versus 40 pieces of usable content. Armor for Hawke, weapons for everyone, and unique, useful scaling trinkets for everyone. $5.

Of course, buy them, or don't. I don't plan on it. Just pointing out that based on past releases, they are a huge ripoff.

And I second LC - look at those arms. Those are broken. You are blind.

With the early release accident on Xbox Live, they could still see the glitch of the armor and throne. They had almost a month before the official release to fix it. Aye or Nay?

Aye, the good folks in bioware seems distracted these days, and with their stunt with the old gen users and those spoils dlcs am not liking where bioware is heading, they should at least give us not a trailer or a teaser, just a statement on the next story dlc would be sufficient.

I think there should be room for DLCs that just look good, preferably without altering the existing game balance. I don't like the themes of the existing spoils packs, but I do believe there is some value to those who really, really like Qunari or Avvar.

DA2 items packs are the opposite - ton of 1337 items. Take the All Class Pack II - whole 40 items! Except 9 of those items are NPC-locked accessories without 3d model. Another 24 items are actually 6 sets of armours usable exclusively by the main character. The 2 armour sets for each class are identical and only differ by stats. The 7 remaining items are just weapons, that should make the early game somewhat easy.
That's one armour model for the main character, eight trinkets and few weapons per playthrough. I would rather buy armour skin for EDI and Liara.

Wonder if that's what broke the Red Lyrium Reapers site.

Look at that damage control.

Anyway, I wonder how long it will take for Bioware to patch fixes for the Qunari schematic armors. I heard the PC version had light armor tinting issues as well.

Yes it is out.  I bought on Origin this morning when I woke up and have been happily playing my new Qunari mage in their new armour.  There is ad on the front page for it when you start up Origin, don't know how you can miss it.

Yea, man. I would take just a statement or even an update from the DA crew on the future of the Inquisition game. After waiting for Inquisition so long, it seems too soon for it to fizzle out like this. With the Spoils of Qunari malfunctions, abandoning old gen, and no news.. it looks bleak. With so much on their plate, it will be like 3 years before another release of a DA game. My addiction needs to be sedated. Lol.
