Checked in game and it seems patch 9 didn't fix those issues.

You're kidding me? Are they not gonna fix it?

I was planning on finally buying SoQ with TD today because I really thought it'd been fixed.

I cannot believe that once again Bioware refuses to even acknowledge a major issue with their game... *sighs*
I didn't buy spoils of the Avvar cause I honestly did not see the point, all of that should have been included in Jaws of Hakkon for starters.
But the Qunari item pack looked good, and we don't have anything special for qunari except the ugly face Paints.

Seeing how this is a race that people have been looking forward to play one would think that Bioware would have put som energy into their creation. But nope.

They have the worst hairstyle options (and that is saying something!) and no unique armor. It was annoying to have to pay for something that should already have been in the game, but fine.

I was going to buy it but I read the reviews and they were not good at all. So I decided to wait. When the latest patch came I bought it, dumb as I was and in a bit of a rush so I didn't have the time to actually read the patch notes but hey - I assumed that a patch coming out shortly after this item pack would fix the issues with said pack.

Nope, just multiplayer again.

I guess it's almost safe to say that the next Dragon Age will be an online multiplayer since they just don't seem to care about SP roleplayers anymore, you know, us who have been there since the first Baldurs Gate?

Now I just sound bitter...I hope this will be fixed soon, it's not that fun to have qunari armor that does not work for my qunari inquisitor.. Come on Bioware!

Eh. I should'e come here and read this thread before buying it. Very dissappointed in Bioware for releaseing such a low quality item. Best thing to do, I feel is to get messages straight at Biwoare themselves so they realise how damaging this is to their reputation. Now I will be far less likely to buy DLC from them knowing it can be of such poor quality.

wasn't aware of the bugs, but just got it today. yeah... loads of bugs. lame... also, one that wasn't mentioned, there's a weird bump on the female light armor's right breast (all races i believe).

i would hope so. paid dlc should always get patched when needed, particularly when it's this bad. it's as though there was no quality checks at all prior to release... especially on qunari inquisitors (which should have been first and foremost)!

I found playing the game as a qunari frustrating due to lack of armors or even armor that didn't even work. At Haven, the inquisition armor that's for sale doesn't show up on qunari's. How did developers miss this bug and why isn't it fixed? I started to ignore qunari as a playable race and use the other 3 races instead.

I was hugely excited for this pack but the bugs are frustrating me as well.  Neck seams, skin color not matching (found a workaround - go to the Black Emporium with the armor equipped and change your skin color) and the fact that you can't tint the armor on the race it was intended for.

Would appreciate some fixes, Bioware...

I see no one posted it here, so...

Neck cut in Bull's case is even worse that qunari Inquisitor's:

Spoiler

:crying: Please make it stop... Fix inbound Bioware?

Edit: And the default Qunari also, my chin is clipping through most armors, even the pajamas.

I made an account here specifically to complain about this mod. That's how pissed I am.

So I've been waiting since the game came out for a Qunari dlc so I could finally do an Adaar playthrough without cringing everytime I looked at my Adaar's armor. So I see it on Live, almost ****** myself with excitement, and buy it immediately. Great, right? No. No it f*cking wasn't.

Everything is wrong. The only thing that's "right" with this dlc is that the armor is pretty. It doesn't work, but it's pretty. Um, no. And then Bioware doesn't even respond to all the commotion about the dlc's crappyness. I would totally forgive them if they said they were working on it and apologized but nope. Nothing.

I grew up on Bulders Gate (literally, I'd sit in my dad's lap and watch him play) so I have a deep respect for Bioware and their games. But their carelessness is becoming too much.

I've just bought this DLC today, I was "yeah my Adaar will be a goddess" but after seeing the armor i was more like "eurgh (disgusting noise in Cassandra's style).

I don't understand why are you doing this bioware, you make a content for qunari and the armors are bugs only on qunari characters. Is that a twisted joke or something ?

Let's resume the bugs :

- Light armor : skin color problem

- Heavy armor : look good on human character but on qunari the necklace looks incomplete, the result is my qunari seems to have a girafe neck on a plastic chest due to that weird line between the neck and the chest.

Oh and let's talk about Bull it's a shame, really it seems that you don't even try to do something good and just want our money. Because if we, customers can see this things, surely you developers can.

- And the last problem we can't tint the armor if a qunari wears it.

This is really going too far, I'm really done with you and your future game. I'm sure you don't care, losing one customer among billions isn't a big deal for you.

I follow you since Baldur's gate, i'm a huge fan of dragon age and mass effect but now i'm very disappointed and sad . You've lost your soul, it seems that you don't care about us.

You choose to give more and more content to the multi but some people play a RPG for a solo mode, and the solo content is not that good and it's sold at a high price (I know the price is not your part, thanks EA for that i suppose).

So I've bought an unfinished DLC or maybe it is finished for you and if it is I can see that you don't care about doing a good job like you did in the past.

And one last thing : learn how to communicate with your fan and listen to them for god sake.

I'm pretty sure that you won't read this but I had to say it.

So as we said in my country : "Adieu et bon débarras".

The more I think about this the angrier I get. I feel like this is false advertising. Its like they made this set for humans and then badly ported it to qunari. I would rather they have released the pack and made it only for the other races than what it is now.

Its like a complete armature made this armor pack. Modders wouldn't even release anything of this quality. Bioware should be ashamed of themselves.

I want to try the new DLC but on principle I refuse to give Bioware one cent more until this is fixed.

And it its not fixed, I want my money back!

I'm not sure what bothers me more, the fact they still haven't fixed this PAID content that for it's minimal size has absolutely no excuse to be this broken, was it QA'd at all?

Or the fact that from what I can see BioWare still have not even acknowleged that its broken.

What the hell happened here?

It's pretty obvious to me that BioWare do not look at these forums, I've tried contacting them in different ways but got ignored for the most part. If anyone else wants to give it a go here's where I attempted to get noticed.

Emails to contact@bioware.com

Tweets to twitter.com/dragonage, twitter.com/bioware, twitter.com/Mike_Laidlaw (The only one to get a response was from Laidlaw.)

And reporting it to EA Help Customer Support (Turns out the best they can do is let BioWare know that the bugs exist.)

All with links to this forum. If anyone with more swing tries it and gets a response, please let us know!

I think they know that's is broken even before it was release, they have eyes and the bugs are kinda obvious plus technically they have to test it before the release.

I see 3 options :

- They thought we'll be too happy to have the content we ask for months and don't notice the bugs.

- They just don't care.

- People in Bioware have sight problems.

Personally I go for option 2.

I'm sure they care. That's always an incoherent justification. The people who make decisions about releasing content are way, way above the paygrade of the people designing it. The executives making these decisions might not care, but that's not the same as the developers not caring.

Well they can show us they care is that hard to tweet a thing or post a message like this "We apologize for the issues and spoils of the qunari. We work on fixing things" that will be a really a start.

I totally love Bioware and their games as I said on a previous post but it's the first time I buy something "shitty" from them.

So yes I'm kinda ****** of. If they fix the issues that will be a good thing, I just hope with the patch fix they apologize. Cause we truly deserve apologies.

It really isn't Bioware's fault. It's EA that is at fault. Bioware is a totally different company now. The old Bioware is long dead. I would bet that Bioware would love to spend capital and time fixing those bugs but EA will have none of that nonsense. Get it out there now and make $.

Of course they do, don't you see their responses all over the board? In regard to this dlc I would bet their hands are tied. EA will not let them spend anymore $ or time on it. They did all they can and will not respond to complaints about it because then they would have to explain that their bosses are keeping them from doing anything about it and that is an awesome way to get fired.

Sorry captmorgan but Bioware is the developer am I wrong ?

So all the bugs on this DLC are totally their fault and don't tell me they had no time to make a good content when this content is only bugged for qunaris which by the way this content is for.

It works perfectly on other races and companions, so they are completely idiot they should have focus on qunari first.

And don't tell me that EA doesn't give them time or moneys to fix things when they have time and a team who works for free multiplayer content.

My guess is that the devs were rushed to release this before the actual story dlc with qunari gets out. These armors are likely adapted from npc ones, so the work put into adapting them has obviously not been exhaustive - it has been minimal. I expect to see in the future the new arishok, wearing that armor we have now, and having no issue at all because he´s a npc and his look was carefully crafted.

What is unjustifiable is that Qunari PCs gets the most bugs with the armor. Bioware should have realised that Qunari inquisitors would be the first ones interested in wearing these, and therefore put the extra effort into making Qunari PCs look fine in them. I would find much more tolerable if dwarf PCs had issues, because that isn´t the main race the armor is designed for, so it would be an oversight, but not a big one.

So yeah, i´m bumping this and hoping that bioware at least acknowledges the issue and plans to fix it in a patch. If they don´t, well that speaks clearly about their product support policies, so i will tell everyone i know how stuff is being sold with bugs and left forgotten.
