BioWare has often been the harbinger of gender/sexual identity equality in their games as well as allowing for full feature/pigment customization. The issue I would like addressed(in addition to adding my voice to the support of Scout Harding as a love interest) is; Why can't we have left-handed characters? It's true that dual-wielding characters have equal damage to both weapons, but why must primary weapon have dexter priority? Is the programming that hard to achieve?

I'm not sure what you're asking for, but dual-wielding characters don't receive any dexterity bonuses to the main hand weapon. The main hand weapon determines the attack animation (and secondarily the damage type) of the dual-wield, but otherwise, the only difference is that the weapons will do their damage when that hand strikes during the combat animation.

 

If you put a higher-damage weapon in your left hand, the left hand attack animations will do that higher damage.

 

If you wanted the option of reversing all the attack animations for no other reason than cosmetics, I think I'd have to say that I'd rather they didn't spend the resources necessary to make it happen. I honestly don't see it is a significant enough customization issue to warrant that.

Well, for years (decades!), Link soldiered on as possibly the medium's sole southpaw. And Nintendo finally resorted to literally turning the world into an absurd mirror image of itself in order to "fix" him.

 

I think the message is that left-handedness is an acute character flaw that must be remedied at any and all cost.

Agree with OP, I myself right handed but I am sick of Bioware discriminating against left-handed people. Fully support you.

It may be a joke to some, but at one time or another gender/sexuality/skin color were all just trivialized too. It was and still is an honest request.

For the record, repeatedly comparing that to right-left-handedness is evidence that the request is not a legit one.
