Hm...it's not a skin COLOR bug. The skin color is working as it's intended.
It's your complexion. The complexion is making the face seem more detailed with more various tones and hues and shades then the simple one color of the skin.
It's working exactly as it's intended. Because the armor has no complexion tint.
Has there been any word if they are going to fix this?
I don't understand how they could have released this for qunari when the tinting and skin tone is broken.
A fix? They haven't even admitted yet that there is a problem with the DLC. They simply don't care.
Qunari have always been the underdogs of DA:I. Next to no helmets for the In-qun-sitor, very few armors, cut scenes not taking the height of the Qunari into account.... And now they release a DLC called ''Spoils of the Qunari'' that is not usable for..........yes you guessed it, Qunari!

Don't know about you but I see a pattern here....
Because they're spoiled, duh. You actually expect spoiled stuff to function properly?
Maybe you are just more tanned on your neck and face rather than your body? Which is no surprise considering all the body covering armour you wear in the game.
I didn't really see what the problem is, it looked like normal skin tone. Even if you get tan on your body you would still have tan lines from the cloth armour you have there.
This really needs a fix. You can't have an armor set for a specific race not work when playing with that race. Thats not even mentioning Iron Bulls head being disconnected from his body when he wears the heavy armor from this DLC.
Bioware is not the Bioware of old. They used to be good to their customers, but now they are owned by EA. They get your $ and that is all that matters. Now CD Projekt Red, that is an outstanding gaming studio. They are in constant contact with customers via social media and listen to them and make changes to give their customers a better product. Something like this would NEVER happen over there. That is unless EA bought them.
so I just bought the ''Spoils Of the Qunari DLC'', I like the new armors and I especially like that the light armor does away with the female noodle arms for once, a great change, thumbs up.
However, there seems to be a problem with the skin color of the armor and the actual skin color of the character (Qunari), they differ quite a lot and I cannot change my characters skin to a color (through the emporium) that matches the ''armor.''
Its especially bad in dark areas and not as bad in brightly lit areas.
The problem does not exist with the heavy armor.
Exhibit A:

I'd appreciate a fix.
Is it possible to change your skin tone in the Black Emporium to match it?
I sent pms to ten employees of Bioware and so far three responded. Two are involved in other projects but Mark Darrah confirmed that they know about it and are working on a fix.

I tried every single skin tone, nope, there is no skin color that even remotely matches that of the armor, especially in the shadows. Its unusable for Qunari unless you're 90% blind.

I remain highly skeptical about a quick fix but thanks for your effort none the less!
Ok, so I am using my imagination to "explain" this skin tone bug. The Qunari used Vitaar on their bodies in addition to their faces in Dragon Age 2. So I am roleplaying the pale skin tone is actually Vitaar applied to their body. Here is my Qunari wearing the body Vitaar along with it on his face. Notice that the white strips on his face is similar to the skin tone on his body. It's a stretch I know, but it works for me for now.
There are bugs in the vanilla game that have been there since day 1 and the devs said they were working on fixing them. What they say and what they do are often different.
First of all, when I started my game after several weeks of not playing (for various reasons) I noticed the statues outside of the main hall. Great! There has been bugfixes, finally!
So I rushed down to the undercroft and got excited when I saw that the colours change on the armor while crafting. I saw the neck was still butchered and all that, but hey, some fixes!
Then I noticed something very strange... Honestly, I just burst out laughing. It is TOO stupid to actually be real.
Notice the problem?
Spoiler
This is supposed to be the light armor.
And here we have the heavy armor
Spoiler
HOW does that even happen? And it is only Iron Bull. You know, the only qunari in your party if you don't play one yourself.
All the other characters are fine,
I tried actually making a random heavy armor to see if it was just in the crafting it was weird
Spoiler
Nope, they have actually switched designs. And as you can see it plainly states "Heavy armor"
Honestly, what kind of hacks are working at Bioware? Or are they getting absolutely no time at all to fix these things?
Neck is not butchered they fixed that problem. There is still a neck color seam on Adaar but it's minimal. They did somehow mixed up light and heavy Qunari armor with Bull, hopefully they will fix that in the next patch.
On my qunari there was no minimal seem so I still have that problem.
But yeah, hopefully.
I am just amazed at the fact that they release such unfinished products and add new bugs while trying to fix the old ones. I think that the mess up with light and heavy armor is a pretty big deal to be honest
