Hi all, hoping for a hand if anyone knows the answer.  Decided to jump back into DA:I today after taking a few months off, and I purchased the Jaws of Hakkon DLC on my PS4.  Oddly, when I went to download it, there were two parts.  A larger one at 1.6 GB and a smaller one around 700 MB.  So, I started the download on the larger one, and then when it completed, I tried to go back and do the second, smaller one, but I can't seem to "find a way back".  It says that the DLC is downloaded and installed, but it also says that it's 2.4 GB, and I seemingly have only downloaded part one of two.

Any ideas?  I even tried to start the hour-long process of re-downloading it, but it only restarted the 1.6 GB part that I'd already done.

Xbox One guy here, so I'm not the best source.  However, did you try playing the game after your download?  It could have all downloaded in one shot, even if 2 files are involved.  The 2.4GB size sort of supports that assumption.

You need to be at Skyhold already for the DLC to show up as a war-table mission.  Southwest Ferelden.

I only recall one large file for JoH.  The other one might have been a launcher, and that's why you can't go back to it.  I would also just try looking for it in-game.

PS4 here.

Not really sure what that second, smaller one you're describing could have possibly been. I only ever had the one large 1.6 GB download for Jaws and after I downloaded that, I was able to play it just fine.

My first thought was that maybe you were seeing the PS3 cross-buy (if you bought Jaws on PS4, you got a PS3 copy bundled with it... kinda useless on our end, but maybe that meant the PS3 users got a PS4 copy bundled with it for if they upgrade consoles), but I just double-checked that in the store and it's 1.6 GB, too, so I'm puzzled.

You're sure it wasn't one of the 2 multiplayer DLC's?

I originally bought JoH for PS3, and when I went to download it for PS4, it was still a single download.  The PS3 dls don't appear if you're downloading from console.  Of course, it's different if done from browser.  I've also wondered if the second dl might have been a patch.

When I was doing my mass install of DA:I on PS4, I mistook the launcher file for the actual main installation, so I'm still kinda suspicious of that.

The same exact thing happened with me.  At the time of purchase it had two files, and I installed the larger one.  The second one disappeared and was never seen again.  It works fine in game though, so whatever that file was-it clearly wasn't needed.

OK, thanks all.  I booted the game up, and it told me that the mission was available, but I'm again in that state where when I go into the War Table Room, I cannot do anything - similar as to one of the updates in the spring.  I'm thinking that, like back then, there may be a second, "hidden" part to the update that will only kick in if you are online when you turn the game on.  I have stringent bandwidth limits though, so I'm not going to try until I have more freedom early tomorrow morning.  The game plays fine otherwise, and the Quenari gear DLC that I also downloaded showed up in the chest in Skyhold, so that worked.  Just can't undertake missions from the table.  At least I have something to go on this time.  In the spring, it took me days of looking online to figure it out.  Apparently, most people stay online whenever they game, and never noticed the issue.
