You should have listened to the merchant better. He explains that the ancient city is protected by a force field that affects technology. It's why the shuttle crashed in the first place. All the magnetic anomalies are a result of the big machine at the center of the city. Later you'll get a mission to shut it down and then the entrance to the city is available. You can do the shuttle wreckage side mission then. Probably skipped too much ahead with the side content, you need to do the main quest, too.

You are already half way there OP. To finish the quest, you need to travel back in time and prevent the devs from inserting this plot stopper into the game in the first place. Since you are here now, I guess you are on the right track.

That reminds me, I took the vorcha squad mate with me on the mission to the ancient city and the unique dialogue was hilarious.

Yeah, he's amazed by everything and then tries to burn it down. His reasons for doing so become more and more hilarious each time. ^^

Mass Effect: Andromeda. The side missions are puzzling sometimes because you need to unlock certain areas first but otherwise it's a lot of fun.

Ok, I'm going to assume this is a joke thread.

All you scrubs working on the SP mode. I'm gonna be the first person to solo Adamantium difficulty with the female Khet Umlaut Vanguard at this rate.

I figured you would have made your space biker by now. . . I've already landed on Hinter, but I haven't gotten far myself due to wanting to collect more Palladium to upgrade my Aralakh Shotgun. . .it's better in the MP though. ![]()

It is that freaking bug, every time i am finished, my beard gets deleted...
But well, my time will come (if i don't die on old age before).
But anyway, didn't want to disturb the cry-for-help-thread with my whiny off-topic.
Got to get this **** settled if i want to be ready for the first DLC next month.

I loved the fact they reverted back to the overheating weapons. Good choice!

We still have thermal clips though Sol, haven't you gotten that far?
You can upgrade 'conventional' weapons to use both systems but at the cost of added weight. Thermal clips are now used from the same pool, but can be popped to increase firing time by jumping back to the overheat system.

I think it makes the combat trivial. You can run around with your guns blazing all the time, especially after you upgraded them. Ammo conversation would have added at least a little bit tactic depth. What's even worse is how they kept the high damage of the thermal pack guns... so now you can oneshot kill every mook by the time you upgrade your first weapon.
Sure you can combine both systems but that's nonsense again. I wish they had kept it at least a little bit consistent. If you don't do that upgrade and just keep the guns without ammo, then your dps is a little bit lower but since everything going up against you dies almost instantly, it's no big loss.

This thread is like watching a bad fanfic taking shape live.
Hey, you won't know if it'll be bad until it's done.
Although... yeah, it'll be terrible but people are going to love it. Then I'll do a rewrite, turn it into a bestseller and the movie will be the end of the careers of several actors. ^^
