And I already countered why that is complete nonsense.

So. . . lemme see if I get this . . . executing Alistair (instead of just exiling him or marrying him to Anora) is a good decision . . . so you can have Loghain get the fate you think he deserves for the many, many lives he destroyed . . . not a quick clean death of course, Maker forbid . . .. And sparing the Architect . . . the guy who caused the 5th Blight . . . and maybe even Blights in general . . . killing an untold number of people in his idiotic blundering . . . is also a good choice . . . unlike letting Alistair live to maybe kill a swamp witch . . . because killing swamp witches is absolutely unforgivable. . ..
. . .there is a point where even I have to throw my hands in the air and give up.
Yavanna likes dragons. Alistair doesn't like dragons. And Andromelek really likes dragons.
Back to the metagame, if I kill Alistair in Origins instead of throwing him with the Nightmare is because that's the only way to give Loghain the punishment he deserves and save Hawke, Stroud, Yavana and even possibly Titus and Claudio.
You want to save Aurelian Titus?
You want to save Aurelian Titus?
Aurelian worshiped the Old Gods who were dragons. Makes sense.
If Corypheus wasn't such a douche who forsook Dumat, he'd live too.
I thought Andromelek's fascination with dragons is common knowledge here on the forum.
You want to save Aurelian Titus?
I'm still stuck on processing The Architect > Alistair.
Seriously!
It's a damn darkspawn!

Andromelek really likes dragons.
I happen to love dragons as well, heck you could probably tell that from looking at my name, and my Xbox live id is DragonLord2488.
No biggie.
Reasons to hate Anders:
He killed hundreds of NPC's that were so unimportant that they couldn't be named or actually appear in the game
Reasons to love Anders:
He made Sebastian unhappy and lead to him delivering the most funny moment in the game.
Maker NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I think it's pretty clear for me which side I fall on. Anders for the win!!!
Oh, and yeah Sebastian is way crazy and I sometimes lie to the keep that I never recruited him just to keep him off my war table. ![]()

It seems so.

My thoughts.

Julie you are the best...but you already know that!

Well as much as I'd love to dismiss his terrorism as something petty like vandalism or whatever the **** is going on in that video given Ander's is nothing more then a spirit sucking lunatic bent on mass murder but alas the situation simply isn't that simple.
It's more akin to that.
My thoughts.

I live to amuse.Have to admit, nothing on these forums had made me laugh until now.
In my first playthrough of DA:2, I romanced Anders (and somehow completely missed getting Fenris), but when he bombed the Chantry, I summarily executed him. Hawke loved him, but she could find no way to justify keeping alive the man who just threw an entire City "under the bus" in the name of "freedom."
Next game, I found Fenris, and once he began to speak to the Arishok in his own language, my heart was his (My first thought - "Hot damn, he's smart!").
I've only saved Anders once, just to see how it worked out.
Beautiful and intelligent is certainly a good combo.
YOR STEWPID!!
Touché...

And stupidity is just awful, even with beauty, that's why my straight male Hawke uses to be alone...
The thing is, fictional characters can't be smarter than their writers, and - this is probably the bigger problem since I don't think writers are that stupid as a rule - the ability of their writers to convey a reasonable level of intelligence within their word budget, or their ability to deal with their own implicit and unwritten assumptions, which aren't necessarily shared by the players but go into their writing nonetheless.
For that reason, I tend to forgive a certain level of apparent stupidity in NPCs if there is evidence it may be unintended. Only with my player characters am I completely unforgiving. There's nothing worse than forcing a stupid line on a character I'm playing. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Shepard.
