Do you guys see a bright future in a romance with Solas?
No
Can't wait to kill him.

At any rate, as someone who romanced Morrigan before any DLC, this brings back so many memories.
Ah, another one. Same here. The difference, though, is that with Morrigan there was always hope of a re-union, as indicated by the ring, even before Witch Hunt. With Solas it's different. The break-up feels pretty final, and the meta-knowledge that he's Fen'Harel doesn't help. I like it, though. As sad as it is, it also sets the Inquisitor free. That's something I can work with.
He's a very powerful being, considered a god by the elves...wouldn't it totally kill his mystique if he ended up being a dad and husband?
Best you can probably get is a kind farewell.
By "Bright" it doesn't have to mean father and husband. In fact I don't think that with being Inquisitor thingie there is time for any of that ahah.
But well if they're putting one last scene for Solas, I hope they'll also add one more scene for all the other romances... Although with the effort they've been putting to the DLCS lately... I don't even know anymore ![]()
I'm pretty sure that the romance will have a special moment in whatever DLC features Solas, but I think he'll use that moment to reinforce his decision to break it off, whether she wants to help him or not.
Then he'll either set a dragon on us to distract us and/or disappear, not to be seen until he reemerges as a driving force of the plot in DA4.

I've been thinking about what'll probably come in DA4 and I can think of some reasons as to why he won't appear, but also some reasons as to why he will... I guess we'll see!

If you have drunk from the well maybe he will mindcontrol you,if you had performed the DR you have to fight vs SOlas+AD soul and Mythal powers,if you will try to use his mark he will simply banish you with the same mark.
And he has bullets that shoot through bullet-proof armor and does 10 billion damage with each attack and INFINITY PLUS ONE hit points!!!!1!!!!

Well, he's Fen'Harel, I'd rather such a major lore figure stuck around in the series rather than have his plotline resolved in DLC

That scrub couldn't stop Coryfish, and I turned Coryface inside out. Maybe with Mythal's power he might put up an actual fight, but I doubt it.
That's assuming they let us kill him, of course.
It didnt bother ZeusHe's a very powerful being, considered a god by the elves...wouldn't it totally kill his mystique if he ended up being a dad and husband?

It could go one of a few ways.
First off, in the cases where Solas is not romanced and the Inquisitor is just a friend, like in a male human mage playthrough, Solas and the Inquisitor might be at odds. This is especially true if the Inquisitor is under Mythal's compulsion. Or they might be enemies from the start depending on how you played.
So any romance should be looked at with the above as context for the next encounter. Even in a romance, the Inquisitor and Solas might be at odds. There might be some key differences though. If the Inquisitor in this case drank from the Well, then Solas may try to remove the compulsion.
It's also possible that Solas now has control over the compulsion. In this case he may only use it insofar as to stop the Inquisitor from stopping him.
In the case of a romance, the Inquisitor will likely have options to try to talk to Solas and convince him to stop or explain things.
Depending on what he's doing, right or wrong, the romance may have the option to join Solas in his quest. In which case the truth is revealed and the female Dalish will inherit some of the same powers to become like those in the pantheon. But this may actually be a tragic fate for her. A case of Fen'Harrel pulling her down with him, which is what he was trying to avoid when he broke up with her.
Then again, we all thought romanced Morrigan was up to something bad after Witch Hunt, and it turns out she's just raising her kid with the man she loves the whole time, so who knows! I'm just waiting on more information before I decide either way, I guess.
My quizz will probably not want to save him so much so as she will probably want to join him. Not just because she loves him, but because she wants to make things better for the elves and Solas's mission, if it will benefit the elves then she will probably go with it. After all, she has done some pretty amoral things to advance her pro elf agenda, such letting Celene be killed and unleashing the wrath of hardened Divine Leliana upon the Chantry. So she won't try to save Solas, in fact she may end up encouraging him.
You made Leliana crazy pants Divine and expect good for elfs
Heretics blood flow like a river.

Suffer not the apostate, the heretic, the abomination to live.
Hopefully, I'm a sucker for doomed romance
Ha, no kidding. I see Illyria as your profile pic. Probably one of the most heartbreaking things I've ever watched was when Wesley and Fred were torn apart.

I think I cried more at Fred's death first, though it's a pretty close competition. Ah jeez, now I'm getting all nostalgic and wanting to redownload Angel.

I'm just hoping she will cause enough damage before they take her out. Even if they do, they will be in the same position they were in before, but with fewer living clerics. Divine crazy Leliana is best divine.
It was less Wesley's death than what Illyria did for him that did me in ;_;I think I cried more at Fred's death first, though it's a pretty close competition. Ah jeez, now I'm getting all nostalgic and wanting to redownload Angel.

I hadn't thought about that. Since Solas seemed to absorb Flemeth (Mythal,) and Mythal had been killed before and come back, so there's no reason to think it's permanent, does this mean that the well-drinker is bound to Solas' will? That could have disastrous consequences for Inq. Or is she just going to be resting for a while, since deities are immortal. Interesting.
I don't think romanced Inq is ever going to have a happy-ever-after, for one simple reason - no note. Solas may have apologized, and he may know that Inq can enter the Fade at will with the mark, but the fact remains that he leaves without any thought for the inquisitor at all. He has a duty to perform, trying to fix his mess in the Fade like he failed to fix it in Thedas. Unless he's got a big, fat apology, and it better be good, my Lavellan is no longer interested in continuing a relationship. At. All.
At least let them be together in dreams, Mr. Weekes.... ;___;

She start second exalted march against elf's.

I am pretty much 99% sure Solas is dreamer or he just so powerful he can do dreamers stuff like be in other people dreams and even control people in dreams. So it's posible. But Solas if love Inquisitor he thinks she is distraction so he wants to be as far as possible.
I'm hoping that whatever we get with Solas won't be a carbon copy of Witch Hunt. I can't see them just giving us the join/leave/stab choice again, it would feel too repetitive.
The main think I'd like them to do in any hypothetical Wolf Hunt content is get the Inquisitor onto the same page as the player, and give them a chance to react properly to the fact that 1) Solas = Fen'Harel and 2) he gave Corypheus the orb. We've never had something that important revealed to the player but kept from the player character before, and if the Inquisitor is going to interact with Solas again, I'd like it to be with the same knowledge that I have out of character.
(I mean, sure, pretty much everyone who played Legacy guessed that Corypheus could jump bodies and was still alive, but we didn't actually know.)

Please don't be that guy who try convince everyone Cory is definitely dead like mad.
It's not guess it's 100% Cory is alive. It's like writers and cinematic designers screaming to you "Look how subtle we show what Cory just jumped to this warden body" We actually know. I was thinking he will be in next game but didn't expect he will be main.
On Wolf hunt. I like Solas my favourite in DA:I so i would like to see him more it would be nice if we could join him and help him with his plan to returning magic of old. Because he don't care about elf's. So only logical think he would want to do to return magic to everybody or fix his past mistakes releases elf's he locked. "My people need me" Elf's are not his people, so mages? or ancient elf's?
