Yep, I think religion as we know it will disappear too and make way for more secular believes and communities, such as Ietsism (the believe that there is "something" but nothing specific) and secular humanism.

The only religion that's actually growing right now is Islam. The only other demographic that's actually growing is atheism. Christianity and Judaism are in a rapid decline.

And what I listed in my previous post are good objective reasons.

Christianity is growing, just not in the West.  Its growing particularly fast in Sub-Saharan Africa

Honestly that's one of the little touches from ME2 I'd like to see them bring back; just being able to invite your LI up to cuddle whenever.

Your numbers are not correct. https://en.wikipedia...storical_growth

Almost all religions are growing, which makes sense since the population does, too.

Organized religion may decline somewhat, but spiritual beliefs will continue to endure.

This topic would be funnier if the character were self aware. "Ugh, I'm the main character of an ME game... I'm totally screwed in two sequels time."

Gamer's choice: do you live it up and get with every LI possible, or tie the knot before it's too late.

On the bright side, by now the Quarians may not be wearing their helmets. We'll finally get to see their faces and wonder if that's what Tali looked like. Damn stock photos :P

Chances are there are no Quarians in ME:A unless the story begins before the events of ME3. That would mean those Quarians would still wear their suits.

I can almost guarentee you BioWare is not going to throw away one of their races.

I agree about the quarians, especially since they're so easy to write around (exiles, indentured servants, those out of pilgrimage, diplomats, etc.)

That didn't get old for people after, like, doing it twice?

Daemion has a point though.  Whether we see them or not, they are probably in those suits.  Only those that were tied to the Fleet had a chance (depending upon the geth/quarian choice and ending, of course) to jump start their immune systems and adapt to their homeworld.  Whether from some geth technology, or through their own means, they were working on it.  If memory serves, Tali said that on their own, without geth intervention, it would take ~60 years.

The rest are probably still stuck in those suits if they ended up on the not-Citadel in ME:A.

Well, yeah. But just having the option is good.

They might have a substitute Geth/Quarian dialogue for those plot points, like a Alenko/Williams situation.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Christianity on a global scale is in rapid decline, while atheism and Islam on a global scale are on the rise.

That's basically what I said (or at least what I meant).

My numbers are not incorrect. Look at the percentages instead of the numbers. The percentages are getting smaller over the years. That means they're in decline.

Sheesh nobody wants it.

Considering the fact that some people are asking for it, hence the existence of this thread, this is objectively untrue.

... are you for real?

Those are growth numbers. Percent per year. I thought you studied physics, that means you should be good at math. Any positive number means the number of adherents is increasing. There is not a single negative number in the list for 2000-2010.

Hey guys?  We should probably drop the RL religious conversation with statistics.  Those conversations almost never end well.  I know that religion and marriage are heavily tied together in our world, but I don't think we should make that into a reflection of what marriage should be in ME:A.

So if for example everyone was the same thing, that thing would be in decline since the growth rate would go down to 0%?

I dunno. The geth are kind of disposable, since their primary function was to be an enemy faction. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

True, it's bad enough that one has to worry about being divorced raped IRL, i don't want to worry about it in a game to boot.

I  think BIOWARE is not stupid enough to include RAPE in their game... unless..

If BSN ever elects a president, then I'd vote for you. :P
