can anyone tell me (with just yes and no's) if Recruiting Legion hurt chances to romance tali or if im already doing so hurt the relationship?

During their confrontation, use the paragon options (never tried renegade, assuming it will be the same) instead of siding with either one of them.

thank you, I was afraid of using the paragon option during Tali's trail, i thought it would tell them about her father did.

I think the only LOYALTY mission a paragon choice can damage is Garrus'. For him, you need to go renegade or he doesnt trust you.

I did the paragon path in Garrus' mission and got his loyalty just fine. It did involve putting my head in the way of his bullet, but meh.

I wonder if making Garrus lean toward paragon in ME1 influences that. I did just that in ME1, went the paragon route on his loyalty mission and he is still loyal/trusts Shep.

no, i had him full good guy in ME1 I think he losses it when his squad dies.

Charm and Intimidate choices dont affect Loyalty statuses and can inclusively heal statuses. I had to take Jack's side on the argument with Miranda that turned to a clash after her loyalty mission. It was the Paragon choice cuz she was right (Miranda id call her something... dont remember). The thing is after the argument with 4/6 slots filled in the Paragon slide, I was able to pep talk Miranda something about being the better woman and she became loyal once again. Might have hurt chances at screwing her but i was already planning to do the same with Tali.
Point is you get 2 chances... make sure that you dont go talk to the character whos loyalty status has been removed because you sided against them UNTIL you have at least 4/6 sectors filled in a morality slide (sectors are divided into the first 5 which comprise the ones that look like a slide and the final one acting like a base for the rest of a slide).
BTW this has been insane proofed... Im pretty sure I was able to use the charm option at an earlier charm level when I played it on veteran on my first playthrough.
