Let COD go first! That way when there are inevitably crippling bugs with the compatibility, COD can be the guinea pig. And ME3 will get the smoother ride later.

I loved Reach, and I think I've spent more time with it than with ME3MP actually, so I wouldn't mind playing it again just for nostalgia's sake. That being said, since we're supposed to start with 100+ games once backwards compatibility will be out, I'm pretty sure that being in the top 20-30 should be just fine for ME3.

Reach was the best Halo game. It had the most refined arena shooter gameplay of any in the series, and the armor abilites provided an interesting cost-benefit analysis calculation of what to take based on map, gamemode and playstyle; this before Halo 4 came along and jumped off the idiot cliff with random nonsense like CoD killstreaks, permasprint, faster TTK and superflous loadouts where everyone with a brain picks the DMR anyway.

MW2 was still okay compared to crap like Ghosts or AW, but it essentially started the trend that resulted in every following game in the series being bloated with casual, impossible to balance trash like the billions of killstreaks, far too many tacticool nonsense weapon "attachments" like dual wield and static, campy, meatgrinder map design. I'd argue the highpoint for that series was the first Modern Warfare. Simple, counterable 3-5-7 killstreaks instead of gameplay revolving around camping and exploits to get cheap, random kills. Simple attachments on weapons that had advantages and tradeoffs vs others. Relatively balanced weapons (though the perk system was pretty awful with some clearly much better than others). Maps with thought put into the design instead of random killboxes that encourage either spawntrap or camping in upper story windows (well, Shipment excluded).

I didn't buy my XBone so that I could play my 360 games on it.

I mean, I wouldn't mind, especially if I can transfer saves, I just mean I don't really care, because I can still play them on the 360. I'm more concerned with playing games made for next-gen on my XBone.

And a vote for ME3 from a PC player sent. I don't understand the need for all the COD games to be voted as a comeback after all we know in about 2 months there will be yet another expansion to the franchise that can't take a year off. As for Halo...why why why. I'm not going to get into the reach argument as I objectively can't given I never played that title, but is it really an A priority when you can get 1,2,3, and 4 in a special pack right now?

 

On the other hand it does show fan loyalty which a lot of us would be hypocritical to critique given our love and continued devotion of this game 3 years later.
