I enjoy the multiplayer but I i'm playing on a ps3 if I decide to to buy a ps4,
do I loose all my gear and equipment in multiplayer and do I have to start al over again?

As someone who has made the switch, its pretty simple. log in with your PS4, update the game and download the DLCs. Go under extras and hit import multiplayer. Follow prompts and poof!

 

I will say I had a tiny bit of platinum left over and it did NOT carry over despite what the prompts told me.

You will also get an incredible graphics upgrade, and load times are much shorter.
